Thick for size
I really like eafengrow knives. I have quite a few knives in my collection, ranging from more expensive spyderco and emerson models to a range of $20-ish knives. These are fun to mess around with. The only issue with this model is that for a smaller pocket-carry, it's pretty thick. It'd be an awesome daily knife with the blade size but sadly it's just too thick IMO for the length. Other than that, grind is even, lock is secure, action is smooth, fit and finish are great.

Very thick and surprisingly small, also NOT D2
----------------Probably not D2 dull fast and other knives of this brand have been confirmed to be labeled D2 and being something else. See luvthemknives YouTube channel----------------So this is a sharp (lol) looking knife, it just looks good, the liner lock gets really there, the action is great out of the box, it was pretty sharp and is D2 steel (I hope)what's not to like? well...Its small, like I overlooked the dimensions when I was looking at it. I should have paid more attention, I was expecting the knife to be at least another inch longer and a little taller (as in blade height not thickness) . Also for such a small knife it's surprisingly thick. The thickness of the blade has some to do with this, since its a pretty thick blade (which a appreciate) but that mixed with the super thick g10 makes for a not super comfortable EDC knife even though is small.Last thing, the pocket clip. Its super rigid (not in a good way) and its not a deep pocket clip, a section of the knife will come out of your pocket while wearing it. See pictures

Do not recommend this style. Do recommend the brand.
I cannot recommend this knife. I've seen other Eafengrow products that work well and I would buy from them again, but I would not direct anyone to this knife. I have normal sized hands for a man, but this knife is both too thick and too small to be comfortable. I also have trouble indexing the rounded handle which also lacks any kind of a finger choil. The flipper tab turns into a bolster when the blade is out, but it's just a bit too small to give me a confident grip. The overall construction is good. The blade release is smooth. The G2 handle is good quality. The pocket clip is an appropriate size for the blade, but does curve out too much and can be uncomfortable. The blade feels short for a 3" even though it does measure 3". The overall width of the blade is .140". Very thick for an EDC, especially such a narrow one. This will be a strong piercing knife, but not a good slicing knife or fruit-cutter (should you use it for that). The liner lock has a dimple in it to make it more accessible to larger fingers, but it's still a bit difficult to thumb over at times. I have had the liner lock fail several times on opening, so you might want to double-check the lock before doing any serious work with this knife. The blade was delivered sharp and is supposedly hard, but I haven't gotten enough use out of it to properly evaluate the edge retention and sharpenability of this blade.

Worth a $20 bill
It's a decent little knife. Great smooth action for having no assist. Locks up tight blade isn't loose at all. Doesn't come open in your pocket. Just enough catch on the blade to keep it safely closed. Came with a nice edge hair cutting sharp. Haven't been too hard on it yet but seems like a great little knife. It's fun to flip when you get bored. Can't beat it for the price really. Definitely going to try a few more Eafengrow knives

Great value
I don't write a lot of reviews here, but I'm really happy with this knife. It has a couple of minor things I would like to be different, but those are not quality related. The quality for this price is outstanding. The quality on this folder is very good. If I were willing to pay 100 bucks for a pocket knife, I'd expect it to be like this little gem. But the thing is, I have a tendency to lose track of knives. And I like to have them squirreled away around the most likely places I use them, as well as in the cars. So 20 bucks is "high end".For years I preferred to stick with old skool knives - Barlows, canoes, toothpicks. Of late the steel in these types has been decreasing in quality in the budget models. Started branching out. Of late my favorite has been a Schrade(sch106). But I think that this Eafengrow is well worth the slight difference in cost. The only cons I see are the blade profile as delivered and the tip up carry using the pocket clip. I knew it was tip up when I bought it. As for the blade profile, this is common across the board. I'd like the bevel on the cutting edge to extend a bit further back from the edge, more similar to a flat ground blade. Hard to find in this price range. The overall blade profile suits my tastes as far as length and the shallow curve in the belly. It is ground from a blank that appears to be about 4mm thick at the base, so I can't imagine how I could ever damage it.[The micrometer is out in the shed or else I'd have measured it for y'all]. I would like to find something similar that is a bit thinner maybe. Not a big deal.Good utility blade for the money. It is not a razor knife, but it could play one on TV. It made short work of the 6 or 7 boxes I needed to stuff in recycle bin.
