Maltese LOVES this too much :)
This stuff is TOO good. :)My crazy-picky maltese loves this stuff. It's a little dangerous. He is super picky, and snubs his nose at most all canned food. Which I thought would be amazing. But nope, he doesn't care. And dry food, he seems to be okay, although I do have to change it up every year or two. But he often throws hunger strikes, leaving me confused and trying different brands. So now this soft squishy Air Dried food comes into our lives. I originally bought it to use as a treat, since he has a hard time chewing crunchy treats. I thought I would just give as treats for rewards. But he often boycotts any other food I try to feed him, and stands under the treat jar in the kitchen giving me the stank eye until I finally give in. Yes, he rules the house. And PS - he has never done that with any other treat, hard or soft. He just wants to eat this food. That for the price should be a treat. Not everyday. oh well. Sometimes I can use it as a topper, and he will finish his other food under it, but sometimes he will just pick it out and refuse to eat his other food.At least I don't feel guilty when most of his diet consists of this food, since it is a whole meal with vitamins/minerals. It just hurts my wallet.

Tainted bag?
I bought this the first time and my dog absolutely loved it, bought another package and fed my dog as normal and she started getting really bad diarrhea. After a few rounds of chicken and rice I started trying to incorporate this back into her diet and low and behold she got diarrhea again. Please be very careful when you buy this.

Excellent food, but too much $$$
Five star food but the price is not. My finicky dogs really like this. I am a huge fan of Wellness dry and canned foods. This is the first time that I've tried air dried food. I'm not sure if I'll reorder because of the price. I plan to serve approximately 1/4 cup (tad less) per 6-lb dog as an evening meal. I estimate one bag to last no more than 3 weeks. They are fed twice a day, no treats unless we're having a training session. I now feed Primal freeze dried food (chicken or lamb) in the mornings, also sold by Amazon. Obviously I knew this food was expensive when I ordered it, but I couldn't figure out how much of it I would be using until I got it and fed to the boys.

Delicious and nutritious!
I use this as a treat for my agility dogs and they love it (even my super picky pup)!! I love the fact that it is moist, the pieces are small enough for my border collies to easily eat (no need to break apart), they're healthy, and!! NO poultry!! This is our go-to treat. As an extra bonus, the price compared to a normal bag of treats is fantastic!! (Think about the fact that even if you're buying a 1 pound bag of "zukes" you're probably paying at least $15 ($30 for 2 pounds) - but probably more. And this is better quality!)

Treat trainers!!!
2 paws up. Both of my labs love this stuff. Did not by this as a food topper or for everyday feeding. Way to expensive for that and labs (at least the ones I’ve had) do not have any trouble eating. Instead I took someone’s advice in a review and use this for treat training. Was using a variety of different treats but was looking for something more nutritious. This is perfect for that. They absolutely love this. They will do anything I ask of them to get this. Warning: it’s a bit smelly, but that is what dogs like. I do put it in a plastic baggie before putting it in my treat pouch. My 1 year old who likes food a bit too much,I simply substitute this as having given him some of his food that day and I don’t feel guilty of giving him “junk food”. It is a great alternative to regular treats and if you break down the cost of high quality treats, these aren’t so bad. My only complaint from a human perspective is they do seem to dry out after 7-10 days. (Yes, I do try to get as much air out as I can each time). Dogs don't seem to mind though so if they’re happy so am I.

Wellness CORE Air Dried Grain Free Chicken Dog Food
I was really hoping my Shih Tzu puppy would like this dog food. It is air dried in little kibble shapes. He would not even try a bite. He just sniffed it, turned up his nose, and walked away, never to go back and try it again. I have changed his diet to Wellness Core grain free dog food, but he just won't eat it. The quality is great and has good ingredients. DogFoodAdvisor rates it as five star, but my pup rates it all one star. I am more merciful and rate it three stars simply because my pup won't even try it. Any other dog would love this food!

My picky dog loves the Ocean flavored version
I am a longtime fan of Wellness dog food and treats and have not been disappointed by them yet. We have tried the dry and wet foods, the little pocket meals, marrow treats and these air-dried dog food, and both my pups love them. The picky one loves to eat these as treats in his little orange dispensing ball. When he doesn't eat his regular foods, I crumble of few of them into his food and it usually works to get him to eat his meals. I don't feed this to his as his regular food because I don't think it's very filling unless he eats a lot of them, and then he would go through a bag pretty fast. The bits are soft and I can easily break them in half or crumble them up, which is good because my picky dog has some missing teeth so it's hard for him to break down certain dry dog food. Make sure you seal the bag well or else they start to harden and dry up. A bag lasts me about 30-60 days.

Awesome training treat!
Use this product for training treats in agility. Suddenly I am the most popular human for all the dogs in the class! They are nice and moist and do not take a lot of time for the dog to chew like larger crunchier treats. Bought a smaller air proof container to keep them moist in my training bag. Also need to remember to remove leftovers from my treat bag because they dry out.
