The little clip on one end of my Ethernet cable had broken off and the end kept falling out of my existing connector which links to the sky box (which isn't wifi enabled). It actually stays in this one - so glad I gave it a try. Saved me having to go under the floor boards to replace the entire cable which runs from another room where the router is. When plugged in individually to the splitter they work fine but when plugged in together neither connect to the internet. After further research it seems other people have had this issue with similar products.
