UPDATED REVIEW:They were good while they lasted. Managed to get about a year and a half out of them. Batteries will no longer hold a charge. I opened one up to see about replacing the battery and they didn't make it easy. Battery is in located under the solar panel about as far back as it will go. To make matters worse, they glued down the battery and the solar panel. I managed to get one battery out by removing the glue on one side of the battery and using some force to pry it out. It was such a hassle that I decided to junk 'em and buy 2 new ones that were in the Today's Deal section.Maybe the manufacturers will in the future to make it easier for the end user to replace the cheap rechargable battery they glued in. This current design is flawed and makes it nearly disposable.-------------------------------------------------------------Original ReviewWe recently redid our front walk and fence and decided that I wanted something to light it up at night. I searched Amazon for solar light and sorted by average customer review and saw these were the top rated. I figured based off the reviews to give them a shot. I love them. Installed them without my wife knowing and when she came home at night, the motion sensor kicked in and lit up the walkway. That was exactly what I was hoping for.Super easy installation... one screw, You can't mess it up :p

I chose this product after looking at several and the design of Solar Montion caught my eye. I needed a light over my back basement door so I wouldn't have to leave my floodlights on. I installed it and left it off a few extra days since it was cloudy and after a couple of sunny days, I turned it on and it has been working flawlessly since. The only suggestion I would make is include a longer screw to install.

Will not buy again. Storage battery (not replaceable) burst after about 4 months. Maybe South Georgia sunshine is too much for it. If ever again I buy such a product I will look for one with replaceable battery.

I absolutely think this light is great for several reasons. One the price is an awesome one and second the look is incredible. I plan on buying some more of these as I was so impressed with the first one. One of the other reasons I really liked this light has to do with the appearance. it is a more stylish modern look and thus giving a pleasing feel. Plus the amount of light this small unit can put out actually surprised even me, but I was happy with that. I would highly recommend this if you want to add a nice more modern look, decent price and well functioning unit to the outside of your home area.

After it arrived, the price paid may be too high. It appears to be a good light for outside stairs or pathway lighting along the ground, but not good for lighting an area and mounting up high. It rained and there appeared to be some moisture inside, so it may not last. I would pay maybe $5 but not $17. I won't buy this again unless it lasts a couple of years.

This SOLAR MOTION LIGHT works great. Met my expectations when purchased. I was looking for a way to protect my doorway and the range of motion to turn it on is good. As per the instructions, I left it in the sun for a couple days to charge and when I turned it on it immediately worked.Great proactive customer service emails received upon purchase with good clear instructions – a good plus in my book.

I bought two of these lights, the first in Oct 2015 the second a few months later. The first one failed this past week. I cleaned the panel and sensor cover with a damp cloth and it still did not work. I opened it up to check the battery connections. the battery was hard to remove. replaced battery and still not working so i tossed it. when they work they work great. there are better cheaper lights out there now.

I purchased two of these 8 months ago. Within the first month the first one stopped working. Now the second one has. I have written to the company since they have a lifetime warrantee. If they replace them and the second set work better /longer, I will amend the review under the assumption that the first batch were defective and therefore it's not indicative of their overall product. quality.Side note: they are not as bright as the Mpow brand I bought at the same time and...none of those have broken.
