So I moved in to a place that had a cookerhood, with lights.However, the cookerhood was missing the lights.So I bought these lights...And now the cookerhood has lights!It all seemed to work out well!The light this gives off is good, allowing for the fact of the cookerhood design most of the light is wasted ...And the colour seems fine, shining through some pretty tired bits of plastic ...They did look better without the covers on (and the filters off, so I could actually see what they were like) however the cookerhood doesn't work so we'll like that, so it's back to what it is....So, happy with the lights - less so with the cookerhood...

Nothing to dislike - working well and illuminating cooling range.

Been struggling with halogen bulbs for ages. Could never get two of them to work together in the cooker hood for any length of time, one would always pop, and they're not cheap to replace. So, I thought, there must be an LED alternative. And here it is. Left hand bulb is halogen and right hand bulb is LED in warm white. Tried the daylight white, but it was too clinical, much more happy with warm white as it's, well, warmer! No idea about longevity as I've only just got them, but, having LED's elsewhere in the home I'm pretty confident these will last a goodly long time.Also - I love the minimalist packaging - the bulbs come perfectly fitted in a box that looks like it should only be able to hold a flash drive. When I first got it I didn't think it was for the bulbs, but as you can see the bulbs are perfectly fitted to their individual boxes, and the individual boxes beautifully fitted into the carriage box they come in. Pencil gives a sense of scale.

Nice and bright in my cooker hood BUT they have not lastered long, two have failed in less than two months

My hood light worked intermittently on one side and hasn't worked for 2 years pit these in and its working brilliantly. I think cos it's all the same shape it stays in fitting better than conventional ones. Very pleased they are also much brighter than conventional ones.
