Just what I needed

This is a basic adapter to mount a threaded T ring lens to a cannon EOS camera body. It is basic so it does not support an auto adjustment features. However if you are looking for a good connection to to use a T ring lens, this is a great adapter!

The product itself, is very solid. And connects to the lens, but not the body I was trying to use.

Fits Canon EOS Rebel T6 but... I currently have two Vivitar lenses I received with my camera(Macro and Telephoto Lenses) however they have a much larger diameter than the adapter has. So unfortunately it doesn’t work. The adapter is good, it locks in place and would work perfectly with my other screw on lenses but not with a large diameter lens. If you’re considering buying this for your screw on lenses definitely check the diameter.

I purchase a Canon SL2 bundle that came with two prime Vivitar lens, but the adapter to fit those lens to the SL2 body wasn't included in the kit. I got on Amazon to order the adapter and when it came I found that it was the wrong one and apparently there are more than one that will fit Vivitar lens to Canon bodies. The overall materials and build were nice, just didn't fit my specific needs.

My bad - fits the Canon camera fine, but not my Vivitar lenses. Should have looked before I leaped.
