I did not have to go store hopping to find Godiva chocolates. If you do find a store that sells it, there's no guarantee that they will have what you're looking for. AMAZON has a great selection! We received the GODIVA CHOCOLATES today and absolutely love them. They arrived in a boxed cooler to ensure that they stayed fresh and didn't melt during transport. It's hot here in Texas so I'm very thankful that the Godiva Chocolates, 36pc, were mailed in a secure thermal box to protect the product.The chocolates are absolutely beautifully made. They were NOT melted or discolored. In this box there are milk chocolates, dark chocolates, and white chocolates. Each piece has their own unique fancy look. I've attached pictures of the 36 pc chocolates I received. Some of the chocolates are stacked on top of each other. There are 36 pieces in the box so you do get exactly what you ordered.The chocolates are very rich and succulent. You can taste the quality that was put into each piece made. This size box would be perfect for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holidays, or someone you admire. The quality of these chocolates are hands-down, the best quality you could buy. They make a great treat for after eating your meal; to get rid of that sweet tooth desire.My sister and I are devouring them. There's no way you can eat just one. We placed a chocolate on our tongue and allowed it to slowing melt in our mouth. If you crave chocolate, why not get the best!

This looks like a 16-piece but it is actually a 19-piece as the description states, if you look under the solid dark chocolate piece you will see another dark chocolate, a milk chocolate and a white chocolate piece. Awesome variety too. Really enjoyed the white chocolate raspberry, the truffles and all of the beautiful shapes that look handmade.The ballotine comes shrink-wrapped with a beautiful bow on it and a gold box inside and was under my Christmas tree just like that and I couldn't peek so there's really no need to re-wrap if you are giving this lovely decadent box of chocolates as a present to someone. There's also an insert inside of the box once you do open it to tell you exactly what kind of chocolate you're eating and what is in each piece before you decide which one to try first/next.Definitely a rebuy for me! Next time I'll get a bigger box knowing what I know now.

This costs a lot for just a box of chocolates but it is higher quality chocolate than the stuff you see in most stores and it makes a good gift. Especially for the ladies. I have given out a few of these and they never disappoint, always happy people that eat them quick. If you're having trouble looking for a gift or are pressed for time, this a great option for anyone and you just can't go wrong. Unless they don't like chocolate. In which case you should be wary about gifting them at all.

This was the most exceptional shipping I have ever seen from any seller. The chocolates arrived packed in refreezable ice packets wrapped in bubble wrap. The box was tightly wrapped in 5 layers of Saran plastic wrap to protect it from moisture. Then the ice & chocolates were placed inside a thick thermal lined foil bag like you would use to protect ice cream on your drive home from the store. Then placed in a box. Even the receipt was wrapped in plastic to protect it from moisture.The chocolates arrived on a 90 degree Texas summer day. Not one chocolate was melted or old or defective or damp. It was store perfect. I think this seller has made outstanding efforts to protect the product. I also ordered other brands of chocolates on the same day which did not go to such trouble. Perhaps this seller learned from your complaints.I can only say that the packaging was so outstanding it took 30 minutes to unwrap all of it. I am very happy with the product & shipping.

A great gift to give any lady in your life. Although lady Godiva was not necessarily a lady, her chocolates are outstanding and every lady that gets some for gifts loves them. I've given like big guys are probably 25 times in the last 20 years I often get them at other websites however other than the holidays your selection is very thin. I can always count on Amazon to come through. I sent my latest one to my hundred year old aunt in Pennsylvania and she is just getting home from the hospital and they will arrive tomorrow on 4 August.

Godiva for Mother's Day? Yes, please!! Thank you!! One word of warning -- this stuff melts so if it happens don't be all surprised. Make sure you are ordering it from Amazon proper and not another seller. It would help if someone could be there to receive it and take it in as soon as it's delivered. My seller did not package it properly. A cold pack in a plastic bag melts just as fast as the chocolate. Luckily, only the two softest pieces melted before I got to it. But, in the future, Hubby will be ordering from Amazon and not another seller. Great product - not the best for mail ordering. Ordering in the winter is probably best. Ordering in the summer.... well, if that melts it's kinda on you.
