A terrific, efficient product for old-school halogen fixtures
I bought these on a whim for my kids' bathroom: the bathroom light is always left on by the kids, the 50-watt bulbs, x4, were using 200 watts an hour and that adds up...plus the fixture was getting hot. Not good. So I bought a 5-pack of these and was pleasantly astounded to discover they're 4-watt, not 5. I eagerly replaced all the bulbs...They were very easy to replace...then a flick the switch: presto! Loads of light, plus they get warm but not hot, and the kids noticed a bit of a drop in power usage. That says it all. They only had one complaint: they were daylight bulbs, not soft-white, but the kids are happy to compromise for the now.I grew up in an era where people talked about inventing The Better Light Bulb. Everyone just shrugged and said it'd never happen. I'm glad to live in the age where that goal has finally been achieved.

Very Bright
I bought a 3-pack daylight bulb set from my local Hone Depot for more than the cost of this set then about 2 weeks later, the fourth bulb needed to change and I decided to get this as it came the next day, saving me a trip to the store. I prefer daylight lights as they’re bright and are similar to natural light. I was very surprised that how bright these were compared to the ones I got from Hone Depot with the same specs. I ended up removing one of the original 3-bulbs because it was so obvious the difference in brightness. I let these face forward and the other 2 duller ones face backwards so it’s not very obvious. I love these for how bright they are.

SUPER BRIGHT and 5k! Best GU10 LED per unit price! NEW LED TECHNOLOGY = CRAZY BRIGHT OUTPUT
Incredibly bright with a very wide flood in true 5000k color! I've ordered 2 sets and have them in all the bathrooms and while I can't attest to their longevity, I can with certainty say that their build quality is legit and they seem to displace heat very well.Leds are super bright and their output is even. There is no magnification but there are a TON of recent tech LEDs with crazy output. If you're looking for bright daylight then these are a great option for the price. Per unit was cheap compared to others with the same specs.Others offer 500 lumens but not in 5k. These are 400 lumens purportedly and while I can't really confirm this, they are damn bright so I wouldn't be surprised if they are 400 or greater. I have lots of flashlights that have output in that range (which I know for a fact do output at the levels they state) and these bulbs are infinitely brighter/higher output.Great bulbs for the price!

Good flood bulbs, NOT 56mm long, effectively 53mm
Color temperature is great, very bright, and super wide flood, all of which I wanted for my range hood. The problem is these are NOT 56mm long, the reason that's an issue is my range hood has abnormally deep sockets for the bulbs. These did fit, just barely, but if they were actually as long as claimed, the would have fit better. And in addition to 1mm short, they have about a 2mm convex lens which means functionally they're only 53mm compared to most bulbs, which tracks as the bulb I'm trying to replace (see picture 3) is about 53 1/2 and is not as snug as these.

Love this replacement!
We moved into a home that had a handful of Ikea lighting fixtures that used incandescent GU10 bulbs. The previous owner told us we could only get the correct bulbs at Ikea, but I noticed they were hot to the touch and using quite a bit of energy at today's standards for a bulb (35 watts each, so 70 watts per fixture). These are an INSANE upgrade that I'm glad I did right away! Not only are these BRIGHTER than the original Ikea bulbs, they use nearly 1/10th the power at only 4 Watts! I'm so glad I didn't listen to the previous homeowner and think I needed to get only the original Ikea bulbs. Thank you Amazon for providing this alternative!

Perfect color balance
These are my go-to bulb, I have more than a dozen installed in my house. The color balance is great, the cost is great, the energy efficiency is great. I took off one star for longevity, it's ok but not fantastic. You can get a similar bulb that is more blue/white, that one is too harsh except maybe for workshop or garage use.(The temperature ratings are confusing - but bear with me, I do have a PhD in Physics. A higher temperature means more the light is more blue/white, you might be tempted to call that "cold". A lower temperature means the light is more yellow/orange, you might want to call that "warm". The ratings refer to the effective "temperature" of the black body spectrum, like a hotter fire burns whiter than cooler red embers.)

true flood light - doesn't flicker! I will buy again.
I bought the 5000K Daylight White, Non-Dimmable. Fabulous! Just replaced 3 bulbs of the 5 in my fixture of 12 that were flickering and all the flickering stopped. I've tried several times to get affordable bulbs quickly and this is the winner. A batch from a different vendor took weeks. Others have flickers. These have true FLOOD LIGHT range 120 degrees per the package, while others are spot lights. Even LED's get warm, but those halogens heat the room. I'm finally happy with the bulbs and am going to mark these for future reference. I have 15 of the GU10 in the house and was determined to never get those in a fixture again. I'm rethinking that now that I've found a decent bulb.

Nice bright white light, little heat
We had some LED bulbs that started to die for some reason in less then a year, so with that not all LED bulbs are created equal. These produce a nice white flood light. Although the glass is not frosted to hide the LED's & better diffuse the light emitted from them, our fixture of 4 lights faces the wall we don't see the faces of the bulbs. These do seem to produce a nice wide beam. Hopefully this brand is of a better quality we got from a big box home improvement store.
