bought this nail grinder for my dog and it has made trimming nails much easier. It’s not very loud, which helps because my dog gets nervous with noisy tools. It feels comfortable in the hand, is easy to control, and I like that it’s portable, so I can use it anywhere without much hassle. I also feel safer using this than regular nail clippers because I can go slowly and have better control instead of worrying about cutting too much at once. The quality feels good and so far it has worked well every time I’ve used it. Overall, it’s I’m happy with it and would recommend it if your dog doesn’t like regular nail clippers

Our dog is very scared of nail clippers, especially the manual clippers. These seem to work well in that regard as she is noticeably more calm. It really isn't that loud, though she still does not like it. They do a really good job at trimming and the guard works well. Plus, I love that the company reached out to make sure we were really loving the product. It really goes to show it was made by people who really care about pets. It is super nice that these are rechargeable as well. It makes it so easy to use on the go if needed. Though, we have yet to have to actually charge this thing and we have had it for several months. The grinder is also really easy to take apart to clean and keep at maximum operation.

Bought this in the beginning of 2023. It has held up well, quiet enough for my dog to be okay with it but DEFINITELY needed time to get used to it. I say take your time and take it slow in the beginning for them to get used to it. Also be careful of fur that may get in the way before using! The nail fits well and despite constant use the grind stone is still good. Only thing I would say is that the stone does get hot if your grinding a long time for long nails due to the friction of grinding. Thus I recommend pausing a bit in-between each nail if your going to grind for a long time, perfect time to give treats in the mean time. Also I would recommend a MASK as well when grinding since you don't want to inhale the nail dust that is grinded off which a lot comes off. Other than that it's a great product and works as intended!!

I rescued a 6 year old lab a year and a half ago he will not allow me to clip his nails. Absolutely reacts like I am torturing him so will never put him thru that stress. Followed the training suggestions and in less than a week I am able to grind a few nails at a time. I am so relieved!! His nails are so much better. Zero issues. Nice and quiet.

This is a great tool at a great price. It’s very easy to use. We used it for my medium and large dog. My big dog’s nails were so long they looked like bear claws. This tool worked to grind them down in minutes. Both my dogs hate nail trims. This was quiet enough that it didn’t scare them. I would recommend this to a friend.

So the product itself is pretty good overall. The noise is pretty quiet compared to some, it's durable and heavy. If ya need to ward off anyone you could definitely throw it at someone lol it's got weight:) Where it fell short for us is that we have a big dog. He has thick nails and the gap that's in the housing around the grinder is pretty small gap to fit a thicker nail into. I ended up heating up the small tip of my soldering gun and cutting out a bigger opening to show more of the grinder. This worked great. The grinder doesn't make quick work of his thick nails tho. It works, but he's a big baby when it comes to nail day and it needs to grind a bit quicker LOL. But again, it is quiet and Well built. Once I opened up gap a bit it was more accessable. So not the worst, but not the best for our application. I'm sure it would perfect for a smaller size dog:)

My 10 year old pitty mix has always HATED her nails being trimmed, and it's gotten worse as she's aged. We tried everything...treats, Benadryl, more treats...and she would always be shaking and let me do maybe 1 nail if I was lucky. Vets and groomers give her extreme anxiety so that would just be worse. But this grinder.....amazing! I'm not going to say that she sat still and didn't even notice, because that's a big old lie 😂 my husband did have to bear hug her, but she wasn't constantly wiggling around and trying to break free. Today was our first time using it, so I did one paw, gave her a treat and a break (and us a break too!) and then the second paw. We'll attempt the other two tonight or tomorrow. But it works really well, and isn't loud at all! It takes a little practice to get the angle down, but by the time I got to her second paw, I had a decent method figured out! For less than $20, this is absolutely worth it!!!

My dogs absolutely hate having their nails trimmed but this product has helped tremendously! It’s a little loud but gets the job done well! My dogs aren’t afraid of it like they are the clippers. Holds a charge well and is very durable. It’s a little heavy but tolerable. My 80lb dog has thick nails but this things files them down easily! Definitely a good investment for nail health and keeps my dogs calm!

It’s not too loud and after the 3rd use our miniature dachshund didn’t even pull his paws away or try to get away like he does with the clippers. His stress level is normally very high when it comes time to get his nails trimmed but this time when we used this file he was very relaxed. Even closed his eyes a few times. Highly recommend! It’s taking a bit of time for me to make sure I’m holding it on the right angle but it’s easy to use and is definitely working to shorten his nails. I would buy again!

My dog hates his nails being cut. At the vet they cut in his flesh and since then it is absolute drama. This nail sharpener is amazing. It is not super silent but the sound isn't disturbing. I got 3 nails at his front paws done after 5 minutes of letting him getting comfortable with it. Some light pressure is enough. Very very happy with it!!
