Now the issue/ challenge with broken needles has been solved. The largest size I can use is not for thin materials. It will definitely leave holes & weaken the garment. The larger needles are definitely great for thick materials. Found that out the hard way by ruining expensive clothing & botched alterations cost me, and upset my customers. My fault. I now alternate between the two sizes based on the material thickness of the garment.
