Works Good
This is a nice alternative to Blue Wonder kit but isn't as dark as the Blue Wonder (which I prefer). It does do a nice job when the area is prepped well.

Four Stars
Works OK on really clean metal but was hoping it would be darker.

Inexpensive way to reclaim old tires metal work
Follow the directions and your gold. This took an old Remington 870 16ga from sad and rusted to a fresh new firearm good for another 82 years at the least. My father couldn't believe it was the same gun he used as a child, I was stunned myself. Just make sure you do your prep work and sand/polish up the metal to the desired sheen. I used a heat gun (hair dryers work too) to heat the metal up before I applied the bluing, not necessary but that helped too I'm sure. If you put in the effort you'll be rewarded with a great finish. I have an old Savage Camp Gun (.22/410ga) that is slated for the same treatment when I get some more time.

Use the right cold blue solution for the metallurgy
I've reblued a Model 7 Savage "click-clack" .22 and a sporterized 30/40 Krag in the last two weeks. Birchwood Casey Super Blue worked wonderfully on the Savage and was a total disaster on the Krag. On the Krag it was blotchy and rubbed off over and over again with each application. Out of desperation, I bought the Tetra blue and it produced a uniform and beautiful finish on the Krag. Lesson learned, have several bluing solutions on hand and let the metal tell you which one it likes.

Possibly old
Product worked ok. But package was halfway open and the protective seal under the cap was corroded.
