Not to dark, not to light, just right. I wear there in full Hawaiian sun on the boat and average days in the car. Crystal clear lens keeping the world looking more sharp than my naked eye.

This pair of Maui Jim sunglasses arrived June 10, as stated they would by the seller. They are an exceptionally fine pair of glasses: perfect facial fit, outstanding quality lens glass, and very, very comfortable to wear. They are also well-built and a good-looking pair of shades. Not cheap, but quality commands higher dollars. I recommend these Stingrays and Maui Jim to anyone who wants a great pair of sunglasses. You can;t go wrong with Maui Jim products.

Simply put, these are the best quality sunglasses I have ever owned. forget about Ray Ban's or Oakley's or other "off the shelf" shades, these are the real deal. the bronze lenses are made of glass and are not only highly durable, but offer incredible vision. When people look thought the lenses, they cannot believe how vivid and detailed everything looks. I'm on my second pair (first ones were stolen) and I coudl not imagine buying or wearing anything else. They have become an every day part of me, like carrying a wallet or putting on your shoes. You have to have them and take them everywhere!

I recently purchased my 3rd pair of Maui Jim’s. Love how they fit and the clarity of the lens, especially when driving. Very disappointed in Maui Jim’s decision to downgrade from the quality protective case to the cheap cardboard “sunglass case” that was sent. The previous pairs I have purchased both came with very solid cases. The first pair came with a hard case that had strong hinges that snapped closed and kept my sunglasses safe and I never worried about it coming open on its on and my sunglasses being damaged. My second pair came with a case that had zipper closure with a latching hook at one end. I was able to attach the case for easy access. Great case that made it easy to grab my sunglasses from my bag or off a belt loop always providing a safe place to keep my sunglasses whenever I took them off. That sunglass case was even shown in a photo on the Maui Jim website when I was scrolling through the photos and specifications for the Stingrays I purchased from their website. I thought my sunglasses would be shipped inside that case as the previous pair. I was happy when my sunglasses arrived but very disappointed in the folded cardboard “case” that came with them. I don’t feel confident at all tossing it into my bag as I was accustomed to doing with the two previous cases that my Maui Jim’s arrived in. Cutting corners over there?? Why not just tack on an extra $10 to the purchase price and keep your customers happy and our purchases better protected?

BEST sunglasses ever! This is my 3rd pair, and I will continue to buy them as necessary. (I broke one pair; lost one pair.) These glass frames are sturdy, and the lenses are wonderful. I live in the CO Rockies at a high elevation - with lots of direct sunlight, glare, white light, etc. These lenses protect sensitive eyes, and objects are so crisp. I would recommend these glasses to one and all.

I was skeptical about ordering these on line but am very happy with the purchase. The lenses are great and the frames are super comfortable as I am a fairly big man. The service was immediate and I will definitely buy these again. My only complaint is that every time I looked at these on Amazon they were a different price. They started at about $155.00 and on subsequent visits the price gradually rose to about 170.00. That was still about a $60.00 savings over local retailers but come on Amazon, please don't the price switching.

Maui Jim has went down hill over the last couple of years. I have tried to get some maui Jims for a year and keep running into quality issues. Maui Jim has become over priced junk. I will stick with Persol and Italian made Ray Bans.. I use to be a loyal customer. I will no longer even look at Maui Jim's.

I have never spent this much money on a pair of sunglasses before, usually content with the $10 variety but I decided that my eyes were worth the splurge and I'm so glad I did! These fit me extremely well and they are very comfortable. I was worried that the glass lenses would make them feel too heavy but I haven't found that to be the case at all. Everything appears crystal clear through the lenses and it was like seeing clearly for the first time! As an added bonus, the hard case that came with them is wonderful and a great place to keep them protected when I'm not wearing them. I'm looking forward to enjoying these sunglasses for many years to come, unlike the cheap ones that I replace yearly, if not more often, If you are at all on the fence about these sunglasses I recommend you give them a try, you won't be sorry!

Es ist eigentlich egal, was man für eine Maui Jim kauft. Früher kannte ich die Marke nicht. Doch durch viele USA-Aufenthalte ist mir die Marke aber dort aufgefallen. In den USA sind Maui Jim die teuersten Sonnenbrillen - die Verkäufer fangen sofort an den roten Teppich auszurollen wenn man vorgibt sich für Maui Jim zu interessieren. Die Marke wird in Deutschland deutlich günstiger angeboten. Die Brillen sind in der Tat eine ganz andere Welt für sich und spielen in einer vollkommen anderen Liga. Die Gläser sind deutlich unempfindlicher als bei den meisten bekannten Designerbrillen. Alle Farben werden perfekt und intensiv wiedergegeben, gerade bei stärkster Sonnenreinstrahlung aber auch bei dunstigem Wetter. Die Polarisierung ist perfekt. Bei einer billigen Polarisierung übersieht man schon mal leicht eine Glasscheibe und stößt sich den Kopf an Eingangstüren oder Schaufensterscheiben. Das ist mit mit einer Maui Jim noch nie passiert. Wenn man an eine Maui Jim gewöhnt ist, wird man mit anderen Sonnenbrillen nicht mehr glücklich. Die Brillen sind super verarbeitet und sehen alle sehr, sehr hochwertig aus! Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung. Eine bessere Sonnenbrille wird man aus meiner Sicht nicht finden und ich habe viele Designerbrillen zuvor gehabt. Kaufen!! Ganz klar!

I am thrilled I found these!! I had the exact same pair for about 10 years & they finally met their demise. I honestly didn’t think I’d stilll find them. These are the best sunglasses I’ve ever owned! I love the fit - they are perfect! I don’t like big sunglasses and these fit my face like a glove. Arrived in less than 24 hours after purchasing.
