Over 8hr battery life and pays for itself after 4.5 years
I have wanted a way to keep my internet on during power outages for the security system to transmit alarms for about a decade. I was looking at possibly buying a small standby UPS which would have provided about 1 hour of backup time for around the same price as this product. I knew I had about 33watts at 120v when searching. I measured each of my 5 devices(Modem, Router/Gateway, Switch, AP, Smart Home Gateway) at DC and found they only consumed 14watts. That means the rest of the 19watts of power was wasted due to heat in the inefficient 5-1A power adapters. I also knew that it was all going to be less than 2A at 12V so this product would work. It actually comes out to be about 1.2A. Installation is easy and makes sense because now I only have 1 power supply VS 5 supplies. I have 3-12V devices, 1-9V device and a 48v POE injector. I am still waiting on a 12V to 48V DC-DC boost converter to be delivered so it has not been connected, but should work fine once it arrives. I decided to do a discharge test to verify the watt-hour rating and see if the supply could recover from a discharge. I disconnected the 12.6V in and connected a volt meter to the input jack. The input jack is directly connected to the cells so you can measure cell voltage regardless of the on/off switch position. As noted above I only had 4 of 5 devices connected for a total load of 10.5watts. The cell voltage started at 12.6v. I noticed that early in the test, about 1.25 hours, it went from 4 lights to 3 lights indicating only 75% charge remaining. The cell voltage was at 11.9v. It had only discharged just over 10.5watt-hours. The test continued for 3 hours without change and the voltage was still at 11.5v. At the 4.5hr mark the cell voltage finally reached 11.1v where I believe the 50% charge point should have been, but the 75% charge light remained on. With 10.5watts at 4.5hours it had discharged 47.25watt-hours which is also about half of the 98watt-hour capacity. At the 5 hour mark the cell voltage was 11.0v. Finally at the 5hour and 25min mark the cell voltage dropped to 10.9v and the 75% light started to flicker marking only 50% charge remaining. I then stopped the test since I did not want to too deeply discharge the battery or stress my electronics with under voltage. So one of my observations was the LEDs are really just a quick reference for if it is fully charged or partially discharged. I think whoever designed it might have not understood the nonlinear state of charge for a li-ion battery. It may be that they only had the option to design the LEDs to operate at 11.9v,10.9v, 9.9v, 8.9v with Zener diodes because that was all that was available. I don't know but it is something good to know during use. So 4 lights is around 100% to 85% and 3 lights is 85% to 40%. I did not test any further. I think 5 and half hours of backup is excellent and if I continued it looks like it would have continues past 8 hours before dropping to 9v. I don't think I will need it that long. If I have a long power outage I will run a generator. At least if I am away from the house the internet will continue to run during a power outage. Any security related messages can be passed. The other aspect I love about this is I now have less power adapters and the overall power consumption has dropped by consolidating power adapters. The power savings will pay for this device after about 4.5 years.

Compact Powerhouse – Keeps My Network Alive for Hours
I love these little UPS units so much that I've already bought two of them, and I'll definitely get more when I expand my setup further. In the past, I've only dealt with bulky lead-acid based traditional UPS systems, which are big and heavy. This little battery pack (lithium ion) is a game-changer—it's incredibly small and compact yet packs a serious punch with multiple DC outputs (12V, 9V) plus USB-A and USB-C PD (up to 18W). No AC outlet, sure, but for DC-powered gear like routers, modems, switches, and mini-PCs, it's perfect. One unit is currently keeping my mini-PC running OPNsense, a TP-Link BE11000 access point, and the ISP's fiber ONT powered through outages—no hiccups, and it holds up for hours. The second one is handling multiple multi-gig managed switches, a Raspberry Pi, and an old Google Wifi unit in another part of the house. Both have breezed through real power outages without dropping connections, giving me plenty of time to ride out short blackouts or safely shut things down if needed. The build is solid—black rectangular metal-ish case that's easy to tuck away, with clear LED indicators for battery level and a simple on/off switch. Charging is straightforward, and it recharges reasonably quickly when power returns. If you're tired of giant UPS boxes and just need reliable backup for low-power network gear, cameras, LED lights, or similar, this is an awesome, portable solution. Highly recommend—worth every penny, and I'll keep buying them as my home lab grows. 5 stars!

Amazing product
An amazing product; it lives up to its promises perfectly. However, whenever the device is very low on battery and I plug it in to charge, the charger gets extremely hot, almost to the point of burning me. Aside from that issue, everything else works as described.

Just got it, 1 minor glitch
Update 1-26-21 The new 6' USB cable to the Raspberry Pi solved the power light flicker. The red light never goes out at 14 watt input. But the battery voltage is 12.6. So far happy with it. No outages yet to test how long it goes. Was heavier than I had imagined. The supplied male to male cables are very short. I ordered 6.6' cables so I could place the box where I wanted it. Also ordered DC Power Adapter 5.5x2.1mm Female Jack to 5.5x2.5mm Male Plug which I had to use on the Calix router and ONT. Tried to use the USB port to run a Raspberry PI 2 B and it booted and ran but occasionally the power light would flicker. The output from the USB port was 5.0 volts, the current around 1/2 to 3/4 amp so that looked good. I was using a 10 ft USB cable which might have caused a problem because of the length and current draw. Also saw where the Raspberry PI machines like 5.1 V. Going to try with a 6 ft USB cable and see if that solves the problem. Removing the USB cable from the USB port was tough. It didn't want to let go. Next outage will see how much longer the router and ONT last versus running them off a regular UPS. The UPS only lasted about 3 hours. Had an 11 hour outage the day before it arrived.

Avoid
Let me start with the problem that when I received the unit it had smudges, also the paint looked old. I know that you have to resell returned units but at least use a wiping cloth. I decided to give it a try even knowing it was not a new unit and following the experience with anything with batteries I leave it charging for the whole night without load. After a day or receiving it I connected 4 appliances (network appliances technically). 1. A Verizon FIOS ont/router, 2. An Asus router, 3. A WD NAS, 4. A raspberry pi. The first 3 were connected via the dc cables and the pi via the usb. Everything worked fine for the first so I leave it connected overnight. My wife complained in the morning that the internet was down. That’s when I remembered that the no break was recently plugged. To my surprise the batterie was depleted, it was not delivering enough power to the router to be able to turn on so apparently it entered in a reboot loop and it damaged the contents of the nvram, in other words, it messed up all the configuration. Fortunately for me the NAS didn’t even turn on so it didn’t get damaged. I had to do a factory reset on the router to fix it. The price was low compared what could have lost (my NAS). The problem was easy to diagnose, my 4 appliances consumes more power than is able to recharge. With time the power was too low that everything shut down. The idea is very good but definitely the execution is not good. ( I added some photos, the one with my hand is when I received it and you can see the smudges, the other 3 where at time of the incident, the router in a reboot loop and the no break turned on and without any charge left) TL;DR I connected 4 common devices and the battery depleted unable to turn on again. It soft-damaged my asus router. Don’t buy it, the idea is good but it’s not ready for prime time

Very good, worked as expected
Jan 26th, 2026: I have been using this for about a month now. I have lost power more than 10 times, and it has worked as expected. I have not been able to test it for long periods of time, but so far it has met my expectations. I will keep you updated in a few months. I love how the internet keeps working when I lose power :-D Updated April 14th, 2026: I was curious to see how long it would last, so I decided to go for the test. I only use it to back up my internet router, which powers an old phone connected to it. It lasted 24 hours and 18 minutes before it shut down. Really happy with the purchase.

Best for the Price!
Fantastic. I never worry about not having internet during a power cut cuz this thing lasts 8 to 9 hours on 1 charge if there is a power cut. Also because of the pass through charging there is no interruptions during power cuts. I can continue to work and not worry.

Did not work well for AT&T Fiber Internet
Did not work great for my use case. My AT&T Wi-Fi router is not happy with this device, and if I try to also power the OTP box (needed to maintain internet) it barely works, and once the UPS battery drains even a little, the AT&T Wi-Fi bugs out. The unit also seems to drop the voltage steadily as it dies, which again causes my AT&T Box to bug out and need to be hard reset before it works again. Overall, didn't work well for my use case, overall seems like a compelling package if it works for yours, however. It could be the AT&T box is just overly picky about its power source.

Own 3 - Very satisfied bu 12V is only 1 Amp
Very satisfied by this UPS, provides ample power for routers and a Cellular Repeater/Booster. Make sure to verify your hardware does not use more than 1 Amp @ 12 Volts (which is relatively low, most routers require more). The 9V output is rated at 2 Amp, which is a little better (18W). The USB ports provide [email protected].

Complete failure after 18 months
Pros: worked great and provided 20 hours of backup for a router Cons: lasted only 18 months before dying completely after only a few power failures. The mfg ended up replacing the unit for me. Very satisfied of how they resolved the issue.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for!
Excellent idea and implementation. Good craftmanship, looks and feels very solid. I have 4 devices attached to it that together draw about 1A of current. When fully charged the output voltage is 12.3V, so I'm not seeing what others have mentioned. I'm using only the 12V outputs, so I thought of permanently disconnecting the 9V and 5V outputs, but when I measured the current they use I changed my mind. It was only 2.2 mA, which is nothing. This means the mini UPS is really well designed. Very happy with my purchase. Update Oct 2024: after 4 years of service my unit died unexpectedly 😫. It does not provide power when the mains AC is unavailable despite the LEDs indicating its charged. Very disappointed...
