Nice hybrid ceramic bowl-plate. Actually 10" across including the thick wall of the plate. This plate is heavy and the edges are thick, perhaps double the thickness of a china plate. They are advertised as white, although the color is much creamier than a china white plate. Perhaps Alabaster White is an accurate description. It's a lovely country farmhouse-chic plate. The bottoms are all level so mine did not wobble at all, on the granite counter top. I do like that I can warm them in the oven if holding a meal.I am very happy with this purchase, so much so that I also bought the 8.5" bowl-plate, service for six.

These plain, restaurant-style bowls are exactly right if you're making a routine out of evening meals that are some sort of protein & greens. They're roomy, so you can pile a chopped or steamed or sauteed greens layer beneath your shrimp or chicken or hardboiled egg or other protein, enough to create a satisfying, filling, no carb meal. Same for soups and stews and Pho; you don't need to go back for seconds. They're not too heavy nor too lightweight nor brittle. Feel like Corelle. They wash pristine in the dishwasher. They stack just fine in the cupboard. Their generous size makes a salad into a feast.

I love these pasta plates! It’s microwave safe and gives the food aesthetically pleasing look, making you want to dig in.

I really love these bowls, these were half the price of the ones my wife bought from William Sonoma and I prefer these a lot better they're wide, they're not too high not too short absolutely perfect. We like you so much that I ordered a second set.

Best bowls for pasta

Great pasta bowls. Dishwasher safe….except they don’t fit between the tines in a dishwasher rack. We have a standard size GE Profile dishwasher and they don’t load in the rack any way you try. Other than that they’re great.

Just what I needed to keep salad from going overboard.

I can't wait to use these for my pasta! I saw these advertised and just had to have them. I decided to stick with the white as they can dress up or stay neutral depending on how I use them. I'll add pictures as I use them to show how they complement our meals.
