I see a lot of reviews saying they point and shoot and nothing comes out. It’s a safety mechanism! You have to pop off the little nozzle and remove the black plastic ring inside. Replace the nozzle and good to go. I LOVE this paint… so easy to use and a rich vibrant color. Absolutely beautiful..

As a designer and artist— and a former professional painter, I have painted a lot. I was looking forward to this being a quality product. It was not. I shook the cans longer than the directions called for and maintained a consistent distance while overlapping strokes with proper starts and stops. I wiped the spray tip and shook cans often. The surfaces were prepared properly; cleaned and primed. This paint somehow had inconsistent finishes— some areas were gloss, some were matte, and some were textured— and there were plenty of spatters. I have never used a worse spray paint. I am so disappointed and angry for using this expensive product that ruined the project after all of the money, time, and effort put into it. I will never buy Montana Gold paint again. I am sharing this experience with all of my colleagues and warning you, as a potential buyer, to not buy this product. Do yourself a huge favor and buy anything else.

So bold, pretty, glossy, strong

For some reason this great product is been sent out without the main cap on it therefore the chance to break the tip of the can during shipping and handling is greater and that’s what happen hereI will buy another hopefully will arrive in good condition

I just received my order. Both of the items are defective, one of the cans does not have a spray head. the second can, does not have a working spray head. So how am I supposed to use it? The Return policy does not allow returns or exchanges for this specific item. Does it allow you to send defective items with such a policy? I have called Amazon customer service to resolve this issue but I was on the line with a representative for 30 minutes and even after that I havent received any sort of help or response. I am very disappointed in the provider that has sent me the spray paint and Amazon customer service overall.I only put 1 star because there is no option to put zero.

So, for someone like me who isn't particularly talented as far as spray paint technique, but can read basic details like what color this paint is and that there's a plastic safety ring under the nozzle you need to remove, this has worked surprisingly well. Unfortunately the entire line of Montana Gold spray paint has a much lower overall rating than it deserves because people apparently wanted to spend more money on a higher grade of spray paint, but not read a basic description.This spray paint is much better in terms of level of control and even application versus krylon and rustoleum spray paints in my experience. On my test run, shown in the picture, of what I wanted to use this for ultimately it worked a lot better than I expected. I want to use it to paint a GC controller and first tested it on the back half of one that was a little beat up and in particular the front half was badly cracked so it was no longer a good shell for a GC controller. After the results I got I'll definitely be using on a better shell as it came out great. On the final product I plan on using some hardcore automotive gloss finish to make sure it stays on and not chipped, etc during normal use of the controller. This color (Aqua) is closest I've personally been able to find compared to the "Emerald Blue" official Gamecube controller that wasn't official imported from Japan when it comes to high quality acrylic spray paint(I wouldn't use anything other than acrylic for a controller since I feel other types would to much thickness).Just to note I did first sand down the original controller using 400 grit sandpaper (enough to at least take off the original protective finish) and used white primer before applying this spray paint.

Great product and coverage. Only thing was that nozzle did not fit but luckily i had a spare and all was then good. Feedback: Perhaps make sure this is properly fitted prior to shipping.

what does sheerness mean?

just fine regular paint. I don't see it as a good quality as the one you can get in canadian tire
