Easy to use, and solid quality plastics. My only complaint is that a scorpion managed to come inside and hide under it and almost stung me. But not the fault of the water station. (My Siamese opens the porch door on his own and sometimes brings friends in with him.)

Works well, easy to fill and install into the mount. The wide makes it easier to clean and sanitize. The level lines are easy to read to let you know how fast the dogs are drinking water so you can be on top of never letting it run dry.

Lasted 4 years before the metal had some caked on black mildew (?). You need to take good care of it, but great value!

Hey, I’m James Brains with the Brains Report, and this is my video review of the PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station. There are 3 main reasons why we like the PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station: 1. Clean – Our preschooler likes to play with the pet’s water. This water station reduces the amount available to him. In fact, he’s shown little interest in it. 2. Easy to Use – I didn’t even have to read the directions. Just pop and fill and replace. It’s a PFR operation. 3. Easy to Clean – Remove the stainless steel bowl and use your soap-dispensing dish scrubber to gitter done. We got this for our two cats and dog for Christmas last year. You see, we have a family tradition of getting each other water bowls. Much like Stranger in a Strange Land, we believe the sharing of water and water receptacles is a true sign of friendship and love. The pets immediately took to the water. Even the cats like doing their weird licky thing in it. We have not had any issues with rust, and we like that you can see the water level to know when to add more. Also, it’s BPA-free and dishwasher safe, though I don’t think it would fit in our dishwasher. This model improved our home décor immensely. Before, people would come over and say, “Ewww, let’s leave.” Now, they stay for hours at a time. Some visitors even take their shoes off and get comfortable! Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who has pets and doesn’t like giving them water too often. We only have to fill it about every week or so. If you don’t have pets, I really don’t know how you would get much use out of this. Maybe for some weird BDSM play? I don’t know. It’s your kink. Anyway, five stars! Love this. Finally an opening at the bottom where I can get my hand in to clean the inside of the container! Metal dish is better for your animal to drink out of plus it keeps it cool. It’s very sturdy and easy to clean. My cats & dogs seem to all enjoy drinking from it. No problems. Water flow is good. I replaced all their water dishes with this one 👍🏼👍🏼.

As far as how much water it holds, I love it. As for noise? It's perfect, especially compared to the fountain I had previously that got really loud if it was just a little under filled. It's simple and easy for me. It didn't come with directions, but it doesn't really need them as it's straight forward. And it is true, mostly, to word. My cat can't knock it over the way she could the first gravity bowl I got her, or like my roommates. But she can knock it around, scootch it, and even figured out how to angle it on the edge of her food thing so that all the water spills out anyway. And then did finally figure out how to get the reservoir off (only once it was empty). I'm trying by moving it to a different surface for now. And she's still been able to move it. So I'll try other things, next will be adding little rubber bumpers to see if it helps. Mostly I like this bowl. It's got enough water to go several days to a week or more. And it's easy for me to fill. I do worry about it maybe not being very durable. You'll see the attached pictures, the part that presses in release the water is already showing signs of stress and I've had this thing for a few weeks, maybe a month. Edited: I changed my review from 4 to 3 stars. Honestly now that my cat has figured it out, even removing the unnecessary top piece (I seriously don't get it's function but had to remove it as the grooves gave her the perfect grip to assist in tipping it over) she just does it constantly. There's nothing inherently about the design that helps prevent this that i can tell. Not even a little rubber/silicone seal along the bottom to make it harder to slide around. I think i got her to go a week without knocking it over which was great

This waterer is VERY well made. It is easy to clean and sanitize, doesn't leak at all, has a small footprint, and doesn't scare our girls. We had the Le Bistro prior to this and while we liked it very much it was too small (2qts for 4 Chihuahuas meant we had to fill it every day which kinda defeats the purpose of this sort of waterer), the sound of the air bubbles was a bit startling at times and while the base was easy to clean the bottle was not. All of those issues are addressed in this product. Moreover, they've addressed issues I didn't even know I had with the other! With this PetSafe waterer you can wash the stainless steel bowl daily without having to wash the whole base. Our girls are generally not droolers and they don't "play" in their water but as a pet sitter I've met dogs who needed their water bowls washed out twice daily just so you could see through the yuck. The removable part cleans in minutes with ease and the slow flow valve also keeps the yuck out of the fresh water in the reservoir. I'll be telling my clients about this one! The wider mouth on the reservoir makes cleaning it much easier as expected but just filling it is easier too, no funnel, tubes, or mops required! There are three things I'd change if I had me a magic wand: 1) the reservoir is NOT fillable from the top on the one we received. You do have to remove it, flip it and open the bottom to fill it. This is not a terrible chore but as another reviewer had stated that it was fillable from the top I'd been looking forward to that feature. I imagine that the other reviewer had the larger size but I'm only guessing… We purchased the medium. 2) The black bit at the top that covers what would be a hole in a top fillable design (but only works as a stabilizer for filling in this one) should function as a carrying handle but does not. I promise you bloody, torn, and broken fingernails if you try it. Don't try it. 3) The reservoir is rather opaque; as we've placed this out of the way and it's not backlit it's hard to see that it needs filling from across the room. I put a small black float in with the water in hopes of having a visible indicator but only just now and I haven't any results to share yet. Try it out, I think it'll work. We LOVE this product. A bargain at twice the price – no really, twice. Perhaps even thrice. You will not be disappointed.

Plenty of water for our cat - peace of mind while we're out that she won't tip it over. Very stable, metal tray is easy to clean

I purchased the PetSafe Heathly Pet small after trying the pump fountain type units. These are often a pain to clean, collect hair, need replacement pumps and filters. This water station is something different and it is fantastic - no complicated parts, all dishwasher safe, no filter to clean, quality construction (parts feel thick and strong) PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station, Small Best features: - Dishwasher safe - No filters to buy - Looks nice Pros: - If you've had similar items you know what I mean when I say being able to throw everything in the dishwasher is a big plus. Never worry about bacteria and associated issues, I just put mine in once a week, which is about how long the water lasts. - No filters to buy is a pro to me. Some people want the extra assurance these small filters offer, and they make filters for these. But they are not required and the unit works great without them. Instead of filters, see the weekly dishwasher comment above. PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Filter, 2-Pack, PFD17-11867 - Asthetics. Last in my list, but still a consideration if this is in the kitchen. It looks nice, stainless steel and black, not too obtrusive. Cons: - No real cons. The black lid serves no purpose other than aesthetics, yet it is removable for some reason. Opinion: Buy one if you need a pet water fountain / station. Small is good for one cat, medium for 2 cats or a dog, and the large is big so plan to put it somewhere out of the way. Filters are the same for all sizes. I've used many types, and this is easy to clean, only a plain old bowl would be easier. No moving parts or anything to break.

Dogs love it! Easy to fill and clean. Always plenty of fresh water for them.

I got 2, one of the broke, the spiral thing went missing to one of them so it's a bit inconvenient to refill but it still works, we had ours for a few months now and it held up pretty well, it's plastic and I could not find if they sell replacements other then the filters(witch I did not try), a replacement bowl and the spiral metal thing

Fantastic for my dogs. Great item.
