Shampoo Scalp Massage - Silicom Brush (pink) by Shimomura

This scalp massager is perfect in every way. It is compact enough to not take up too much space in my shower, yet big enough to cover all areas of scalp efficiently. It fits nicely in my hand and gives a luxurious scrubbing. The actual massage prongs have a gentle firmness but not at all hard. It definitely feels like it gets the blood flowing. I like that it is one solid piece so there are no separate parts which can become loose, or detached, or fill up with water. My hair does not become tangled at all while using it (my hair is straight and fine). It feels like it will last forever!

Pretty pleased with this shampoo brush. First, it’s way more gentle on my scalp than the plastic one I have (which feelsgood but scratches my scalp). The points on this are pointed enough to get through my thick, long hair to the scalp, which I need because my scalp produces a lot of oil (and accompanying flakes and oil build up). Since I became pregnant it’s gotten even worse and this brush helps my clarifying shampoo really get to my scalp while helping to loosen up what’s on there. It’s definitely made a difference. Second, it’s one solid piece of silicone, unlike most other silicone shampoo brushes where the water gets trapped between the bristles and the handle and becomes mildewed.

I only wish it were one outer row bigger. It keeps my hair from getting caught in my nails, and lifting them. I feel that I can scrub my scalp better. I’m a curly girl, so I have to use different products and I am glad I gave this shampoo brush a try. It’s all one piece so no chance of a build up of bacteria. I can pop it in the dishwasher to clean it, too.

I love this product and I have noticed that my scalp feels cleaner and I haven’t had the problems with dry scalp or psoriasis this year since I have started using this product. Now, I’m not going to say that this is a miracle product and it will work for everybody but I’m going to tell you that of all the products I’ve used including shampoos, it has given Me the confidence to wear black shirts and dresses without worrying about the flakes for my psoriasis or dry scalp making my shirts look like I’ve been out in the snow! Not too hard and it’s not too soft.

I needed something to help get my scalp cleaner and after pouring through the many similar items on Amazon I took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did. The handle fits comfortably in your hand and even though it looks like the points may hurt, they really don't! They're very comfortable and REALLY get in there to give me squeaky clean hair. Plus when I take it out to work in another section of the scalp - NO TANGLES!! It's my new favorite part of my shower routine.

Order 7/22. Received 8/1. I'd say pretty good coming from Japan to the USA. One piece solid soft and supple silicone piece. Haven't used it wet yet, but I ran it through my scalp/hair and gave myself a massage with it dry and it felt amazing! One of the softest yet most firm shampoo brushes I've owned. Very excited to try it in the shower!

I love this thing. My hair is about 3 feet long and thick/straight and wavy, and I use it every time I wash my hair! Which is about 2 times a week, as it should be :)

I like that this is one solid piece of silicone. No mildew build-up. The points are slightly flexible which allows them to hit more surface area. Reduces dandruff. Doesn't scratch.
