I moved into an old apartment with a very musty dank under-sink smell that permeated the entire kitchen and even wafted out into the hall. Within 4 days the odor was reduced significantly so only a faint whiff is detectable at the sink area when the cabinet doors are open. It filled up with water within about 3 months and I've replaced it.

I use these in my garage storage closet which tends to get hot and humid and leaves a moldy smell behind These work very well in helping to reduce the smell of dampness. I recommend.

It works well. The only problem is that in my car the dang thing falls over and spills the water absorption beads all over my floorboard that I am trying to dry out, creating a vicious loop because the beads drop the water below them after absorption. The design is highly inefficient in a vehicle that moves. It needs a ship's mug shape if you are going to put it in a car. Other than a spillable design, the stuff actually works great!! And FYI: when you touch the spilled beads they leave a weird residue (almost sticky & definitely gritty) on your fingers/hands, make sure to wash after handling them.

A must for a camper especially when packing up for the winter. If you don't then you will be wiping up mildew in your camper! Lets just say I didn't have a damp rid in the camper once and regretted it when we used the camper after months of being stored away. Easy to use and dispose of.

I have used these for years. This batch did not have the safety seal on any of the 3. I reached out to Damprid by email and here is there response. “ Thank you for reaching out, we do direct sale to some amazon sellers. We customize our fg100 Damprid containers without a safety seal to prevent activation during transit, which should be in the description for all sellers. Please reach out to an amazon customer service agent to process a refund. Our local retail stores will carry the product with the safety seal on. We apologize for any inconvenience.”. So then this makes it a safety issues for kids, pets, etc…. If there is NO SAFETY SEAL! I than called the DampRid phone number and was told other reasons why they send out with no safety seal. “There are people who insist on only buying it with no safety seal.” After several minutes of questions on both sides. I asked if there was just a mistake during production and they are not willing to admit and we lose our money. They stated that they will send me 3 coupons to replace with 3 damp rids from a store. They warned me that Amazon is the only place that has dampRid for sale with no safety seal. My recommendation if that is true, do not purchase these from Amazon.

We keep these in the closet and bathroom at all times. Amazing how much moisture there is in those places. Don't have an available outlet to use a dehumidifier so these work great for that purpose.

This product works extremely well. A definite win to rid an area of a musty or damp smell
