Mattress Protector/Queen Size/Waterproof and Hypoallergenic
Upon taking it out of the box, the high quality of this mattress protector was observed. It is made large enough to easily fit over a large mattress of up to 18 inches deep. It is "quiet" to lay on, no crinkling sounds whatsoever. As for the waterproof features of the product, I cannot comment on that as there have been no accidents with grandchildren sleeping on the bed. I guess it is a nice "insurance policy" to have protection on an expensive bed just in case a grandchild would have an accident.

Best protector for memory foam mattress
This protector seems to be exactly like the one we bought with our Tempurpedic 9 years ago. The mattress protector is still in perfect shape and the mattress still looks like new even though my husband is a sweaty guy. I expect that this one will protect our new guest room mattress just as well. The protector is very thin so it doesn't interfere with the feeling of the memory foam. Shipping was fast.

Allergic to dust mites
I bought this because my Allergist recommended that I get a hypoallergenic mattress protector. I put it on right away. I put on my sheets. By the next two sheet changes, I noticed that my sheets were thinning in the position that I sleep. I did an experiment by putting my old mattress pad back on. It was clear that this mattress pad ruined two bottom fitted sheets, therefore it ruined two sets of sheets.

Apparently it doesn't actually work. My grandson wet the bed and it went thru to my expensive mattress topper. Wasted money apparently.

So far so good with this mattress protector
So far so good with this mattress protector. I waited for a bit to "re-protect" our temperpedic mattress because we were enjoying not getting hot as we slept through the night. Glad that old protector got replaced ... it must have been the culprit! This king size, waterproof protector has given us no sleeping discomfort at all. Hopefully the summer nights will be as pleasant as the winter nights have been. Will update accordingly. Happy sheep counting!

I love this new mattress pad
I love this new mattress pad. I got to protect my tempur-pedic mattress and not have that warranty voided. While I haven't had to test the waterproofness of this pad, it fits GREAT! My sheets stay taut and no longer end up in a bunch every night. It's so much more comfortable! So glad I found this one!

So Far So Good
I just purchased this mattress protector for a spare room and it seems like good quality. We have not had anything happen to test the waterproof part of it, but I am hoping that it will perform well. I will update this review if down the road, it fails to meet the standards I expect from it.

So far we are happy with the mattress protector
So far we are happy with the mattress protector. It fits the mattress well. We bought the protecor because we just bought a very expensive mattress. We have a dog that sleeps with us and is getting up in years so we wanted to make sure the mattress was protected from any incontinence problems. We originally tried a plastic protector but did not like the crinkly sound it made when you moved around on the bed. However, thankfully, there has not been an occassion to test the effectivness of the waterproof feature. A five star review has not been given since we do not know how effective the waterproof feature will be.
