My dog that paws, scratches and breaks anything that contains her can not get out of this crate. We love it! It was SOOOOOO easy to put together. I did it myself without even getting my husband to help. It took less than 10 minutes. Very happy with it. I pushed one of the sides in on the crate instead of putting it up. I took that side and put it up to my doggie door against my sliding door. Now my dogs can come in to get air conditioning and sleep in the crate, and go out the doggie door to go outside to go to the bathroom. When I get home at night I just keep the crate door open on the side so they can sleep in the crate or go outside to go to the bathroom. My one dog sleeps in in now even when the side door is open. She loves it. The first pic is the crate against the sliding door. The second is me taking a picture of the inside where you can see how the dogs can go out the doggie door. I use suction cups with cord around the bottom to hold it to the sliding door. Works great!

We adopted a 50 lb hound pibble mix who has severe separation anxiety. He utterly destroyed regular crates and scared me to death that he was going to hurt himself breaking out of them.We got this crate, and he has finally settled down. The crate is heavy, so I don't have to worry about him moving it around. Like another happy customer I call it 'the lion cage'. Roscoe, who I just watched happily eat his kong hasn't been able to do much damage to this crate or thankfully himself. He's gotten pretty wild and the only result is that he scratched off some of the paint on the interior. Since he's a power chewer and can break out of or into pretty much anything else we've tried I'm inclined to say this crate is fantastic. I do however INSIST that you use carabeener clips to keep the door closed. The lock is a simple flip mechanism that our little guy figured out in about 30 seconds. Fortunately, the manufacturers have a place in the lock to add a carabeaner (sp?) clip, so it works out perfectly.I recommend this thoroughly. Oh nearly forgot. This is the only crate I've been able to find with a bottom grate that is made of the same sturdy bars as the rest of the cage. Don't get an imitation that has a cheap thin wirey bottom. It would never hold up to my pup.

I ordered this crate because I have an escape artist who mangles regular crates and locks. When the first crate arrived, the box was severely damaged. When I took the crate out of the box, it also was damaged. The door hinge was missing leaving the door half off, most likely from the shipping and handling. I emailed the company and didn't expect a response right away since it was the weekend. To my surprise, they emailed me back within 2 hours. They offered to reimburse me a portion of the cost so I could get it repaired but unfortunately, it would have had to be welded which wasn't an option for me. They immediately responded that they would be sending me a brand new crate since without the door being stable, it wasn't usable. The positive customer service I received was impressive. The crate is very sturdy and holds my dog inside. I did add 2 padlocks to the door locks as my dog can get these open as well but with them on, he can't get out. Make sure that the crate is not close to anything that your dog can damage as mine can stick his paws through the bars and grabbed my mini blinds one day which were instantly shredded. My dog is relentless when it comes to getting out of a kennel. She chewed thru a wire kennel, ate a plastic one and can climb or jump any fence (she is a 22 pound coydog - coyote mix). Anyway, running out of options I thought I'd give this kennel a try and see if i could keep her contained (she chews my furniture when running freely). Kennel arrived in good condition and fairly easy to assemble on my own. Latches alone did not keep her in the kennel but the seller has exceptional customer service and helped me to purchase additional locks for the kennel and now she is unable to escape.

I have a labmaraner who has destroyed two other common kennels...this one is like a lions cage, indestructible!! He still doesn’t love being closed in it but he goes in it to chill!! Love the bottom being below the level of the crate itself so easy to clean if need. Easy to assemble and needs the wheels since is very heavy!Would buy this again!!!

Our dog does not like to be in his kennel when we are gone, but he totally destroyed his old kennel. He actually chewed on and broke welds on the wire frame kennel we use to have. He no longer does that. He has tried, but can't get out.

My dog has escaped from every other crate I have gotten her. Not this one! She has anxiety issues and will drool all over herself anytime I crate her. This crate has really changed our lives. The trey underneath captures the excessive drool and she is no longer drenched in drool when I let her out. Life Changer. She seems to be more comfortable and a little more at ease. Also, she cannot dig due to the bars on the bottom. I do recommend putting blankets or a bed inside for comfort.

This cage is one of the best ever! I love that i was able to put it together myself and my pet loves it and he doesn't want to get out. I like that it can be moved from place to place with ease even while he's in it.
