Very heavy, yet not really heavy duty (be prepared for dents)!
Full disclaimer: Bought mine from the Amazon Warehouse for around 1/8th the current cost. Condition was listed as "Used - Like New - Item will come in original packaging." The shipping box arrived well-worn, but no obvious damage, with packing materials around the unit. However, there were numerous large dents on the sides, back, top, and lower drawer front. Drawers were jammed inside, askew. I was expecting a little cosmetic damage, but nothing like this!I decided to see if I could at least get the drawers working, in which case I would relegate it to the garage. Versus trying to box it back up (in the now cut down box) and send it back.Two hours later of metal work, straightening torn tabs on drawer sides to reattach runners, bending various sheet metal parts, etc, I restored to its current condition "Used: Major cosmetic damage but usable".And man is it heavy! The heaviest 77 pounds I've ever experienced. I was grateful the wheels still operated fine, so I didn't have to carry it much. I was surprised that taking all the drawers out didn't lighten it up much either.Then I saw why. There is a big, thick, heavy steel plate fixed in the lower back area. I imagine its purpose is to prevent the unit from tipping forward when laden drawers are pulled out. That steel hunk is likely over half the total weight.For anyone wanting this *actually* new and undamaged, good luck. Just don't think the weight of the unit is any indication of metal gauge used--it seemed pretty standard. As in dentable!

Overall I give it 4 stars
It was overall, very well constructed as a whole, glides work very smoothly for the drawers. I like the size difference in the drawers and the bottom drawer works perfect for hanging folders. Has roller wheels on the bottom and it works great on carpets as well.The only thing I would of liked to have seen which would of have been an improvement on the overall construction, and that would be the locking mechanism on the cabinet and the associates keys key that operates it. They appear to be an after thought and are cheaply constructed. They do not compliment the overall cabinet constructability.

Arrived dented
Was disappointed that it arrived dented. It is still functional and I was in need of it right away. When I contacted Amazon they offered a 10% discount, when I still wasn't' satisfied they came up to a 15% discount. When I chose to pay top dollar for this item rather than a couple of hundred dollars less for a cheaper brand I would have hoped it would have arrived in good shape and the offer would have been better to keep a good customer happier.
