Ensure Plant-Based Protein

I’ve been a repeater buyer for this drink. I am allergic to whey and any milk by product protein drinks and was looking for an option that didn’t feel like I was drinking sand. This is delicious, has good protein and isn’t too sweet. Definitely easy to grab on the go.

The taste is very important to me and you dont get that grassy taste it taste so good compared to other products with low sugar. the package was delivered on time. Packaging delivered with care protein quality and taste is great. Calorie not high smells good not too thick. Very effective for what I need

I am not vegan, but searching for high protein drink with no artificial sweeteners. This product scores + in this category. It has a slightly thinner consistency than Ensure Max Protein. It contains chicory root fiber which must be the reason for the smoky, burned flavor. I did not like at first, but can tolerate if very cold. Be aware, I was not, when looking for products without artificial sweeteners to look for sucralose AND acesulfate potassium, if these ingredients are an issue for you. The outside cardboard packaging is difficult for elderly, frail, arthritic persons to open. The individual containers are ok for me to open. I will reorder because so difficult to find high protein nutrition drinks without artificial sweeteners. I find the taste of the vanilla only tolerable. It does not provide any additional energy that I have noticed but i am drinking for protein and vitamin and mineral content.

No soy…….. you Perfect for those people that have soy allergies.

I’ve tried a lot and this is by far the best I have tried. It’s still not great but it’s not bad. It’s just a bit chalky but easy to drink and no nasty aftertaste.

I bought the chocolate. Tastes like a yoo-hoo, but yoo-hoo is better. Needs to be very cold to be tolerable. Fills me up, however. I am just drinking them temporarily as I need extra protein to recover from my surgery. I would not buy again. However, if you like this sort of thing, it is probably okay for its purpose.

I tried this product to avoid drinking dairy based ones but didn’t like its taste or the unpleasant aftertaste it left in my mouth. It’s good the company is trying to cater for people who are vegan or can’t eat dairy for other reasons, however I wouldn’t order this product again. In general, all the manufactured protein drinks are excessively sweet and full of artificial ingredients. I only use them because of severe malnutrition and medical advice but would never use any if I were able to eat sufficient real food for proper nutrition.
