ESR Metal Kickstand Designed for iPhone 11 Pro Case, [Vertical and Horizontal Stand] [Reinforced Drop Protection] Flexible TPU Soft Back for iPhone 11 Pro (2019 Release), Black

The media could not be loaded.  I originally purchased this case for its utility, strength, and it’s sharp looks - and I wasn’t disappointed. The case is pretty solid but still has a slight bit of a gel-like feel to it, and the stand has solid mechanical properties and is pretty sturdy. Another small thing I noticed is that the transparent cases have a barely noticeable dotted texture that makes it look slightly more premium. The materials it’s made of are great, and the stand itself has looks and feels slightly less cheap than other stands of comparable material.Overall this stand is a pretty great value for the price, has been extremely handy, and seems like it’s going to do an excellent job protecting my phone (which is what all cases are really supposed to do). The only minor complaint I have is that I can’t lay my phone flat on its back because of the stand… which really hasn’t been much of an issue. The only version I can’t speak on behalf of is the solid black case since I didn’t have one available.UPDATE (1+ Years): So far this case has held up pretty well. It still serves the main purpose of its existence pretty well, which is to protect my phone. The rubber still feels pretty nice and has a bit of wear but has done a great job of protecting it. On the other hand, the kickstand has lost its strength. It can still serve as a kickstand in certain positions but is extremely limited. I suspect that using it as a fidget toy sometimes has hacked away at its resistance strength. Overall it's still been a pretty great case. This case is a NEED! :-)So let me Preface:A) I am a super detailed person where it's all about the lil' things that count up for me. And again, I've owned lots of other cases in the past.B) I was a lil' skeptical after reading older reviews from older iPhone models from years past with the ESR Metal Kickstand (and keep in mind I was mostly reading the 1 Star reviews). BUT this one is top quality...and I'm VERY impressed so far.C) My last few cases were the Seidio Surface, but this year Seidio chose not have the cut out to display the Apple Logo (which I liked). Plus, I think their Dilex Lux case is both not very good looking (IMHO), nor do I want a metal band around the outside where the iPhone's antenna is (seems that would unnecessary block more cellular signals...just my own thought).Anyway, to my ESR Metal Kickstand Review:1) The initial feeling is TOP Quality.2) This is the first kickstand case I've had that holds the iPhone Vertically...and this is a Game Changer for me! I LOVE IT!. It is really sturdy standing up there...I don't feel like I would or could knock it over very easily. And I can tap on 1Password to access clients passwords as I work on their machines...so Vertical is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!3) I'd asked a question before buying...and the kickstand does indeed close with a very distinctive click into place...and the variable "power steering" of any angle horizontally is fantastic, too.4) So when it is closed...it feels GREAT in the hand...like nice "finger ridges" that make me feel like I have a better grip on the iPhone than I would without the kickstand...and there is no way that the kickstand would accidentally catch while slipping into or out of a person's pocket (or purse as I would imagine). ;-)5) It has NO sharp edges.6) The hole cut outs are perfectly centered.7) The edges do rise above surface of the cameras and screen, but they are not overly pronounced, as I've seen on other cases (which for me seems fine, but we'll see if I ever drop my iPhone). Plus, normally for day-to-day use, I don't really want huge tall edges when I want to swipe from the edge.8) The inside has lil' tiny raised micro dots/dimples which would help with any potential "liquid look" or "sanding down" if debris was to get sandwiched between the iPhone's Back and the case. Which in years past, with another brands (NOT ESR or Seidio), I had a Ringke case that ruined a previous iPhone 5s with its metal back when a person could not see any debris, but the case had no micro dimples either.9) It does a great job of showing off the beauty of the iPhone 11 Pro without being distracting with too much styling...it's just simple and elegant.So that is my story, so far...hope it helps someone...and enjoy!

Case is secure on the phone. Is completely clear so you can actually see the color of hour phone (which is great for the new green). The opening for the cameras is wide enough that nothing is distorted. The kick stand has been my new favorite thing so I’m not constantly learning over my desk at work and when a text comes in I can just use the facial recognition to quickly glance at my phone because it’s already sitting up. Solid investment.

The case itself is very good and clear. The stand is much better quality that I expected. It adjusts smoothly and feels very solid; not loose at all.

wasn’t sure about this at first. It looked sort of slim and I was not sure of what to expect. Upon getting the package, I was really surprised at the quality! It’s a soft shelled, (hard, not flimsy) case. Plus the stand is actually great! It’s sturdy and supports the phone. For the price, I’m amazed and definitely suggest the case. :)

The quality has gone down a lot and this was very cheaply made. I use to like this brand but I will no longer get it. They just slapped the kickstand into it and the stand is extremely hard to pull out. Do not buy!

Phone cases are as personal as your taste in music. I wanted a case that I could stand up on its own either vertical or horizontal. Believe me it’s harder than you think to find one. Sure you can find the ring pull type but these are just not stable enough.Step forward the ESR case. First thing you notice is the build quality. This is a high quality vinyl that fits perfectly to the iPhone 11 Pro. The metal kick stand fits snugly with a satisfying click when not in use. It feels substantial when you pull it out to use. There has been a great deal of thought gone into this design. I’m very happy, I rarely give a five star rating to anything. But this is as perfect a product as you could buy for your iphone11 pro.

It would be fair to say I am a veteran when it comes to cases with stands having had them on phones for last 6 years.Purchased for IPhone 11 Pro. I can’t say anything about durability but general build quality, ease of use and simply does it do what’s it’s supposed to do, it does all these well.For me the ability to use the stand in either a vertical or horizontal position is very important. The ESR stand does both of these well. Vertical is straightforward by having to extend the stand fully for the phone to be stable. In the horizontal positions more options are available as the phone can be either way up and able to alter the angle view either way up. This means can have the volume controls on the top and accessible. Being able to adjust the angle of viewing also handy.Areas of concerns: having used similar cases in the past the hinge spring tends to be the weakest link. As the stand is used the spring becomes loose and either ineffective or limits use of the case/stand. Time will tell how long it will last, reckon a year. Will come back and update!

A great addition to my phone, protection and practicality merged into one product. Not bulky like some others on the market and being clear it’s not too in your face either! As for testing on protecting my phone, I’m not planning on dropping it anytime soon.

The material is of superior quality and the kickstand is very useful and the case fits my iPhone 11 pro perfectly.Felt material could have been more colorless. Have to wait and see how it retains the same transparency with time. I would recommend this product.

Great case, and only one I can find which has a good ‘sturdy’ kickstand. Bought one for my iPhone 10, the Mrs iPhone XR (she uses the kickstand a lot) and now for my 11 pro. Very handy for FaceTime/video calls and generally just sitting on the desk whilst working. Little pricey but worth it.
