Anchor Hold Pomades, 4 oz.

I used steadfasts ORIGINAL pomade and I loved it but the hold was not very good with my hair. Until this new anchor hold came out! I bought it and tried it asap the smell is the same as the original a nice clean scent. The color however is now well it doesn't have color its just a clear pomade original is blue but anchor hold is clear. Wish it stayed blue though! Hold is great on this I can stylemy hair how ever I want. Just be sure to have damp hair not too wet but enough so you can spread the pomade well. That's my mini review on this product hope you have a great day! (I had the name steadfastgent before steadfastpomade. I do not work with them) If I did I would promote the hell out of their products!

This is a really good product. It is much better than hair gel. It holds very well and is usable for different hair styles. What I really like is that it is a water based product which when you need to refresh the holding power, just run a wet comb/brush through your hair! Since I don't use it to spike my hair, I only need to use a small amount to get the hold I want. Great product!

The Anchor Hold works all day long and I work 12 hours a day. Fresh Clean scent that is not over powering. Washes out with water. I highly recommend this pomade.

Best product in the market

It took me a while to figure out the best application method, however I'm new to using this type of product and this is only the 3rd brand I've used. I've never done an undercut before, so certainly some of that is me learning what does and doesn't work. I found it does not easily apply with dry(ish) hair and that it does not effectively hold if your hair is too wet. You can apply with wet hair and let dry, but you'll have to recomb to get a final hold once your hair dries out. My hair is very thick and only about 2"-3" long right now, so if you have longer hair you'll probably have an easier time. I have to get my hair damp and then dry to ~10% wetness to apply. Once I figured that out it was pretty easy.It does a great job holding for the most part. I have a couple of cowlicks that it struggles with and some other products seem to work a little bit better on, but overall this one is better.It washes out easily. It smells great. It holds all day and I find that I can recomb without reapply late in the day if something gets out of place. My biggest complaint, that is probably typical of many of these products, is that if you recomb too much without water it starts to flake and makes your hair look dandruffy. There is a certain amount of working that can be done, but the line is fine.

My hair type is a very frustrating hair type. Trying to style super wavy hair to a perfect slick it nearly impossible. This pomade makes that very thing possible, it gives the most hold with an ability to keep restyling it throughout the day. Has a very fresh scent with a clear appearance. My hair on the top is about 6 inches long and I only have to use 3 dime size balls of this pomade to have an all day hold. I highly recommend it to those with very wavy or slightly curly hair that are attempting to have a better hold.

My first time trying the product. I've tried many pomades for the type of hairstyle I have (low to high pomp and side pomp). At first I was excited to try it since many people have been telling me about it. The scent is nice and the color of the pomade itself is clear (just observations, has nothing to do with the quality). To start with, I have thick hair and any product that is as greasy or "light" such as this pomade will get soaked up by my hair. For it to be effective I needed to glob tons of the stuff onto my hair just for it to hold. Once I shaped it, I sprayed some hair spray to hold it in place. At first I thought it was because I used it while my hair was damp? Not the case. Even with dry hair the pomade did nothing for me. I was really trying to give it the benefit of the doubt and try different ways for it to really hold (mixing it with other pomades). But nothing. I even left my hair product free for about four days and still no results. This product was not for me but you can give it a try!

I have quite thick/wavy hair and this is one of the few products I can use that is willing to cooperate with my type of hair. I have used all types of gels,waxes and pomades and this by far is one of my favorites. Whats also nice about this hair product, because it is water based you don't have to worry about an oily,waxy finish compared to other products which are oil/wax based. What I also love about this hair product is that it is also a good Summer product because it is much more unlikely to melt especially when you live in a state like California where if you don't have the right hair product by the middle of the day your hair will begin to frizz or fall apart. I love this product and is among one of my favorites and I would without a shadow of a doubt recommend this to guys like me with thicker wavier hair. Leaving you with a nice slicked back/styled appearance.
