I received a Samsung S7 Demo several years ago from a relative. It sat in a drawer until now. The switch from 3G to 4G means I have to use this and dump my S6. In the drawer, the battery got an attitude and swelled up and blew the back off. This kit has the battery and small tools to do the replacement. You have to remove a bunch of small screws. The hard part was supposed to be removing the back with a hair dryer but the battery already did it so I cannot review that part. So far the battery capacity has exceeded my other phones and the supplier says it's not at full capacity until several discharges and recharges but already it lasts for days.

I have a Galaxy S7 edge and a certain cell carrier forced an android version update to my phone which killed the battery life ever since. After more than a year of diminishing battery life I installed this battery and its like I have a brand new phone again. I swear the battery life is better now than it was before version 8 update beat my phone down. I installed the battery into my wife's phone hoping for similar results but I must have been to rough or hasty in the replacement because the screen developed a dark spot that has been growing ever since. I believe its a leaking Led which means the screen is shot so had to buy her a new phone. Definitely be carefull how much pressure you put on the phone when installing the new battery and assembling it. This was no fault of the battery but rather my mishap but I highly recommend this battery and feel its better than oem, so far my phone hasnt had any issues and its been about 6 months maybe.

This battery had added the lost life back to my phone.. seems to have same or slightly better staying power as OEM battery when phone was new.. Samsung's are harder to change battery than Apple, so be prepared and take time.. Changing battery is so much cheaper than new phone.. thanks.UPDATE:. Battery still working great after about 4 weeks. Using battery measurement app Accubattery, it shows capacity to be right on 3200 mAh. It is sold as a higher capacity than that but it gives me all day access while my original battery capacity dropped to about 2400 mAh and being down to about 5 to 10% at the end of the day. Yes this was a great improvement to my OEM almost 4 year old battery. Maybe some phone hardware can detect larger capacity based on voltage levels but my phone shows average 3200 mAh.. overall happy with battery and I can now get another couple of years out of this phone. Much cheaper than nearly $1000 for new phone. I would buy again if given choice.. I just wish real mAh was closer to quoted mAh advertised. Still give 5 stars because phone seems close to original life now. I will update again if I see any degradation in a year as anything past a year is considered normal wear on battery performance.

It was value for money with the high mAh battery and the kit. However I returned it because the set was missing some parts for my purchase. Don't buy it first unless you managed to dismantle your phone back cover. It was not the product problem. It is for professional.

I ordered this because my S7 Edge's stock battery felt like it was dying so I wanted to try an alternative. It has higher capacity and wasn't very expensive, so I figured it would be good.In actuality, it was worse than the battery I replaced. The battery life was very poor. But at this point, I already discarded the stock battery and I didn't want to put more money into this phone. Now, 9 months after I bought it, I found the back-cover of my phone popping off because the battery expanded to be too big to fit inside the phone.So now the phone is pretty much useless, no battery and the back cover is broken. I bought a new phone recently so it's not the end of the world, but I was using my S7 Edge as a backup phone and now it's done. Wouldn't recommend these batteries long-term currently.

I got this September 2021. Its still going. My phone constantly overheats and there are days when the battery doesn't last very long but of late it has been keeping charge.Maybe thats a phone problem and not a battery issue. I was on the phone for about 3 hours ine day this week and it only went down 20+% which is surprisingly good.It charges fast enough compared to when I first bought this phone.The kit came with all the tools for installation and I paid a technician to do it for me.

Watch a couple of different videos on how to install. I used a blow dryer to soften the glue and a playing cars to slip underneath the back cover to remove it. After that it is a breeze. Just be careful when connecting new battery, it took a couple if times to get it just right. I didn't want to damage connectors. Battery holds charge all day, still able to charge wirelessly.Thanks!
