Very nice crate.
This crate had all parts included at arrival. I purchased this two-toned gray crate as a new product and received it as such. I would have immediately returned if it had been used or damaged. I assembled without any problems. The crate made with medium heavy plastic on 1/2 sides down, back and bottom with 4” inserted wire windows into plastic sections which secured the safety of the crate even more. I observed no exposed wire ends around the three inserted wire windows. The front gate seemed heavy duty and sturdy and was installed without problems. I placed the crate back on the floor and easily installed all four corner wires into designated holes at the same time for a safe/secure fit. I appreciated these holes were built up above the level of the top for added security fit.My dog weighs approx 10-11lbs. She is a small mixed dachshund/chihuahua. I would not recommend a larger dog or cat because I observed a strain on the top of gate when I carried her inside. The top of the crate would stretch and cause the gate wires to come out of their designated holes. The door could not be opened until I lifted the crate with her inside again and easily returned the gate wires to their designated holes. I would not recommend forcing the gate for fear of breaking the plastic holes or bending the gate door. I appreciate the door can be opened on either the left or right side. I appreciate the dual plastic locking devices…arthritic fingers. I would not recommend carrying a pet inside this crate for a long length of time. I suggest making the end door wires a bit longer so a bolt can be screwed to each wire end for added stability when the plastic crate pulls away from the gate wires.I bought this crate for safety while on short trips, shopping, distress alleviating exercises and while I vacuum and mop. She is terrified of all common home noises and mortified of being outside either with me or fear of being left outside alone. My little dog was one of a dozen small dogs living their entire lives in a small wire cage OUTSIDE in a horrible hoarding situation. Her dew claws are permanently damaged due to being caught in the floor wires and broken away from her foot bone. After a week of seeing this crate, short entries (all while holding the carrier) she now enters it on her on and rests peacefully. The bottom is sturdy and safe and all wire window inserts pose no threat to her safety and allows her to see me from all sides of the crate as I move around her.I did not need instructions to assemble this crate. 15 mins total. I am 67 years old.

Top Tier Per Carrier
Here’s a lengthy review! Price point is unbeatable for the sturdiness, size, and material. It’s very, very spacious. I really like the ventilation holes on the sides to prevent from any paws coming through - that being said some cats may fit their paws through the door squares. It is extremely sturdy, I really like that it comes with bolts for extra security in addition to the four latches. It’s a bit tight to screw the bolts into the nuts but once you’ve got it, be sure to extra tighten with a screwdriver. It has two doors for ease of use, especially useful for animals who refuse to go in through the front door or for animals who may not be keen to coming out the front at vet visits. The top door allows easy access. The bottom seems like it may be slippery so I am considering a small mat or pet bed to make it comfier for my cat. I have purchased this and assembled it in advance for an upcoming vet appointment. Hoping to leave it out and open so as my cat can adjust to seeing and being around it to avoid as much trouble as possible when appointment day comes. Assembly is fast and easy, instruction manual is helpful if you get stuck. I was stumped on how to open the top. I have attached a small clip to show. You rotate one of the top bar latches, pull it out and up while it’s pulled out. Either side works, so the top can be opened left or right bar. There are also attachments for carrier belts/straps which is not a necessity for me, but I’m sure is useful for many others. My cat has broken out of two pet carriers (both fabric based), and has refused endlessly to going into a smaller plastic one with only a front opening. I am extremely pleased and confident this cat carrier meets all of the needs for her & that I will not be looking for a replacement any time soon.

Nice little cat carriers
I ordered 2 of these carriers to take my 2 adult cats to the vet in. They were easy to assemble. I only needed a Philips head screwdriver to tighten the bolts. As soon as I got the first one done, both of my cats had to check it out. The only thing I don't like is opening the top door. My fingers aren't long enough to hold pull both of the spring-loaded "pins", which are also the hinges, back to unlatch it and lift open the door at the same time. At the vet's office it won't be a problem because I won't be trying to open it alone. There is plenty of room for each cat individually, but they don't like each other enough to both be in one, even though they would fit. They're adult cats each weighing around 10lbs. The carriers are light enough that I can manage them easily, and can be taken apart for cleaning, by removing the 6 bolts that hold the top to the bottom. As for durability, I can't say yet. But, they seem durable enough for what I need. They got here quickly too.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, and my cat really likes it!
I got this to replace an older soft-sided carrier which my cat has just about outgrown. I wanted something sturdier, with more space for her on the inside, especially for the potential of going on longer car trips with her. This carrier is a breeze to assemble, and comes with optional nuts and bolts for those who want a more permanent assembly. They're not really needed, though, as the four clips on the side each seem to have a good strong grip, and click firmly into place once set. This allows the crate to still be easily disassembled and packed for storage if need be. To make this carrier more comfortable for my cat, I also got the AmazonBasics Padded Pet Bolster Bed - 22 x 15 inches. The bed just barely fits into the crate, as it seems a tad larger than advertised. It's a tight squeeze to get it settled into the bottom of the carrier, but my cat does seem to like it just fine, so no worries there.Putting the door on is as easy as just fitting a peg into a hole, then flexing the opening just so to insert the opposite peg. I don't understand the difficulty reported in some of these reviews about getting the door on, because I had the whole carrier, with door, assembled in less than ten seconds (without using the extra hardware). The top door works just fine, as well. The struts that lock it into place are each tensioned with a strong spring, and there's plenty of room to reach in and flip the release tabs up. I saw one review here that mentioned having to use a knife or other tool to flip up the tabs, but that person must have seriously thick fingers, because I am a grown man and I have no problem using my fingers to flip the release tabs up. The door also seems secure enough once properly latched shut. You can see how both doors work in my attached video.Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase, and glad that I didn't spend twice the amount of money on an inferior product from my local PetSmart. My cat has decided that she really enjoys napping in her cozy new "hideout;" and meanwhile, I just hope that her first trip to the vet in it doesn't scare her away from it entirely. :P

Very sturdy and reliable
Very sturdy and fit both of my kittens comfortably. Love to use it for travels or going anywhere.

Love it
I love the carrier. Easy assembly, but one of the screws was missing the required nut, so I had to skip one. I'd feel more secure with all there. I'd love if the 6th nut would be provided since I had to take one from the matching one I bought to complete.

perfect for my puppy
I bought this for a puppy. The size was perfect- small enough to make him feel secure, but large enough for it to grow with him. The plastic is durable, and easy to clean. There was no weird plastic odor. The handle makes it perfectly portable and the "sunroof" is convenient. It fits a soft bed perfectly inside.

Not worth the price

Sturdy and secure
Excellent. I ordered it in a hurry as I had to travel with our fluffy friend. He loves it and I love it too as it is sturdy, compact, good looking and safe. Comes with two openings one at the top and one in front and the mechanism is also convenient and secure. It will definitely make our journey worry free. I took the 23 inch variant which gives more than enough space for a 6 months old Persian cat and I am sure it can accommodate him when he will grow up to his optimum size. There is a 19 inch variant also which could fit him as well, but we India parents are futuristic and tend to buy larger size for our kids. Jokes apart, it is a good investment as I believe it will last long. I will add images and updates after six months of use. But if you are looking for a carrier l, I would suggest you can definitely buy this one.

Super !

Sturdy, Secure, Quality
Sturdy, secure, easy to assemble, lightweight to carry. It’s my first time needing a carrier for my rabbits. It’s their first vet trip. I read a wonderfully helpfully review of this carrier, from somebody mentioning she liked the bolt feature (something I hadn’t considered to be a feature to look out for). She mentioned it adds extra security if the side clips fail or break. After reading reviews of other carriers, people mentioned the clips broke or the bottom fell off in transit and the animal fell out. So, it was a big reason I purchased this carrier, because the top and bottom can also be bolted with metal screws and not just rely on the plastic clips to hold them together. However, when assembling the carrier, the screw went in fine, but I struggled to attach the washer on the other end, it was fiddly, no helpful tool supplied to do it and I couldn’t tighten them fully with my fingers. In the end, I just used black cable ties instead of the screw bolts. Easier when dissembling for storage that way, just cut the ties instead of fiddling with a bunch of six screws.I’m pleased it can open from the top via the handle, or from the front cage entrance. The gate felt thick, rather than thin wire. The clasp feature to lock it felt very secure. I feel the rabbits will be safe and secure and can’t escape, God-willing!I bought the small 19” size because it won’t be used often, or for long journeys (vets is 10min drive away). My rabbit is the size of a small-medium cat/dog. He is a fully grown Lop rabbit, 18mth old (not dwarf or mini). In my opinion, This carrier will be suitable for a medium sized adult rabbit, or a small-medium cat. I don’t think it’s suitable for an animal of this size for a long journey over 30-45min long, as there isn’t too much space for stretching/sprawling out, or standing on hind legs. If the animal is returning from vet treatment and needing to lay/rest with minimal movement, then it’s ideal. It will also be fine for short journeys, if the animal has had exercise time prior to entering the carrier, they’ll likely stay still and sleep. For a long, lengthy journey, or for a larger cat/dog/rabbit etc, I’d suggest buying the bigger size option.Very happy with this purchase. The price was very good compared to some options that didn’t appear to be as good. My only regret is not buying the larger size, just incase I ever want to do a long journey with them (I should of thought that through better!) at least it will be easy for storage and also, the bottom section of the carrier can be used as a spare litter tray when not used for the carrier feature (yes, for those who don’t own rabbits, they can be litter trained like cats).
