Opportunity costs depends on you! It works though~
You can definitely save time with this little guy. Maybe 20 seconds each clove! Make sure you cut off the bottom of the garlic first before you put it in and start rolling it. Less work that the ol' smash the garlic with your cleaver, but not that much less work. So use your own gauge of opportunity cost vs the cost of this peeler.

Works really well but when we received it there was hair and other gross stuff on the plastic

Easy to use
Easy to use, but the only way to clean it is to run water through it. So far this works okay.

Keeps your hands clean
This MOSTLY works and keeps your hands clean, so worth buying if you use garlic often. Not so easy to clean....maybe a bottle brush would work better?
