A real super-easy two-drop Enchantment, this one will give you life fast and furiously if you know how to use it right.If you really want an insult to injury, two combos you can follow up with this:A. If you got the cash to spare, "Ajanni, Mentor of Heroes" can give you 3x +1/+1 counters and get it buffed quick enough to sacrifice the enchantment, and gain the 10 life instantly.B. Nyxfleece Ram, and Sunbound (or anything with Sunbound attached to it, really).Sunbound has became my favorite enchantment lately, because it as you get tanky, so do your creatures. So, if you gain a counter from your NyxFleece, and then trigger the Ordeal of Heliod, you gain not only 10 Life... but TEN +1/+1 COUNTERS ON YOUR CREATURE.Yeah, imagine a Sheep that was a 0/5 jumping to 10/15 in a matter of seconds. Even more insult to injury if you have a Enduring Scalelord that absorbs all those counters, and finally hit it with a Soliditary of Heroes. Yup... Now you have a 20/25 sheep.Now, don't you just feel sheepish from Ordeal of Heliod? =P

I purchased this card for my boyfriend because he has a (way overpowered already) enchantment deck that he loves and I wanted to help him make it more better. Though I am no longer a fan of ordering cards by themselves, I will say that I had a good experience receiving this card and a few others that I ordered with it in order to complete a sick deck. If you are looking for that final SHAZAM to add to your deck I recommend finding a card and just buying it. Besides that I much rather the thrill of opening booster packs.

My son plays magic, How do you review a card?This card was very useful against most decks. He was happy to find it on Amazon for a decent price. He trades cards and the cards he buys here hold their value. This card allows you to gain ten life.

refer to the title of this review....i have a theros heroic deck that absolutely kills. i have won with three mana countless times, this is a staple of that deck

Pretty good on something like "daxos of meletis" which is almost un-blockable, since it adds counters that don't go away and you also gain 10 life, so overall a pretty good card

Bought to add to my white deck. very useful card

Amazing card. Now I have all the Heliod cards. Only problem was it came late. I wasn't able to play it in a tournament.
