Good comfortable jeans
These are my 8 year olds favorite jeans. He has worn this brand for a few years and they do tend to wear out at the knees after a few months of wear. I bought him a different brand of better thicker jeans but he hatted how they fit and felt and wouldn't wear them. So we went back to these. They are thin material but more comfortable. I got him size 8 regular. He is 73lbs and 51in tall.

Too big in the waist, but has inner adjustable elastic!
These are nice jeans, but all of the waists on kid's jeans are SO big these days!I bought a size 8 for my almost 9 year old son, they fit length wise but are super big in the waist. However, they DO have inner adjustable elastic, which is so great!Which I am so grateful for, because otherwise they are all bunched up with a belt like his Levis are.And these are a much more reasonable price that most jeans.

Good All-Around Kids Jeans
These are good jeans with consistent sizing. He's a rough kid, slim and tall - these fit him in the length too - I hate to see him in short pants. The slim fit is excellent and with the adjustable waist he doesn't have to wear a belt. I get him several pair at the beginning of the school year and they last through the school year. He plays on the playground - knees tear - he wears 'em with patches - he's a kid. And he has cutoffs to wear in the summer. My only beef is the faded, worn versions - I avoid buying those styles - the jeans will get that way through wear, tear and washing. Maybe other kids aren't as active as this one and need faded worn jeans to look active? The skinny style is too difficult to get on over his heel so we stick to the the straight and boot cut slim. These are so reasonably priced I can buy him a new pair anytime there is a need. The Children's Place is our go-to first for his clothes. We will miss this brand when he grows up.

Length is very long ....
Color was ok. My 5 year old son normally wears a size 6. This jeans was almost 2.5-3 inches longer than his other size 6 jeans.

Great pants but waist way too large
Love the look of these jeans on my 5 year old. The fabric is on the thinner side but not at the expense of quality. Perfect for kids that don't like heavy jean material. The only potentially problematic thing is that the waist runs very very large. It had the elastic and buttons to make it adjustable but it has to cinched so much that the elastic gets a bit bulky. Kids that may have sensory issues would have an issue with this. All other size 5 pants that my son has he doesn't need to cinch at all. The positive is that the waist will fit for a very long time.

Fits great, and the price is good too
When my son was younger we preferred Carters brand clothing, but now that he's older, I haven't really been a fan of the big boys (beyond toddler size) clothing that they make. The Children's Place clothing are similar to Carters brand in that they run bigger than other brands, and I love that pretty much all of their clothes come with an adjustable waist band and snap closure up through size 7.Despite the fact that the dye is a dark one on these jeans, they did not run as much as I thought they would. I DID use color catchers for the first wash btw, but they didn't catch much dye, so that was a relief. These fit well and my very thin son can easily wear these jeans with the adjustable waistband. These look great and fit well.

Overall good jeans, nicely made. Not so much husky tho.
Happy with the jeans, they are very nicely made and look so cute on. But I will for a husky size they fit exactly like a regular size 8 fits my son. My son is in between sizes 8 is a little snug, my stores only sell 10s as the next size up and they are to big, even a size 8 is to long. So I was hoping husky would fit, they do and will work but they are only a teeny tad bit bigger than a regular 8.

These are nice soft feeling jeans
These are nice soft feeling jeans. I wanted Husky, but these are still bigger than I expected for the size. My son definitely has to wear a belt with them. So they are "very husky" and I guess my son is only "somewhat husky". Otherwise, they seem to be great.
