This is a lovely slate coaster.It's a nice size,so my big coffee mug sits comfortably on there.It has 4 soft,non slide,corner pieces underneath which seem to be stuck on quite sufficiently and stop any scratching of my table top.The engraving is really nice,though it's not actually deep in the slate,so I should imagine over time it will definitely wear down.But,for the price and length of time it will last me,I think it's a great gift and a totally unique,sentimental,beautiful coaster.I highly recommend it,I love mine it's great.Thanks !!!

Not a lot to say here. It's just one of those bog standard slate tiles you see everywhere with a bit of average quality engraving. Nothing special but it's cheap and made my Dad laugh. A great stocking filler for the price so why not!
