Fixies or fixed gear bikes are great urban bikes that are extremely popular with biking aficionados who feel they give a pure, enjoyable and exciting cycling experience. With no freewheel, your legs control the pace - there's no coasting - to brake, you use your legs to slow the pedals. The stripped down, minimalist design reduces weight and increases your connection to the road - it's like nothing else on two wheels.Often, fixies come without brakes, but to ensure safety and compliance with the laws of the land, Royal London have attached brakes at both the front and rear wheels. There's also a flip-flop rear hub - this allows you to ride it as a pure fixed gear bike, or convert to a single speed.Study 22" steel frameFlip-flop rear hub: ride on fixed gear or single-speed16T Rear hub700c steel forkSteel handlebar700c rimsWanda 700c x 25c TiresFront and Rear V breaksHeight adjustable seatPlastic pedals

Exactly what I was hoping for and really easy to put together
Exactly what I was hoping for and really easy to put together. It took me about an hour and I have zero mechanical skills. All of the tough pieces were already assembled - I just had to put on the front wheel, handlebar, seat, and pedals, though the brakes did require some realignment and the tires weren’t inflated enough. It rides quite well and fits me perfectly (I'm a 5'6” female with a 32" inseam), so overall I'm happy with the quality given the price.

Great price and it fit exactly the type of bike ...
Took a risk on this item. Great price and it fit exactly the type of bike I wanted. A Fixie style bike with the option of a fixed and a single speed hub. Really easy to put together. The ride is fun and you feel like one with the bike. Definitely pleases. I decided no to install the plastic guard and the crank guard. Looks cleaner.

but are still pretty bad, still tweaking everything on the bike 3 ...
3 hours after putting it together the back innertube popped, had to buy a new one. The breaks took a lot of tweaking to get to an acceptable point, but are still pretty bad, still tweaking everything on the bike 3 days after I received it. Would not suggest buying this bike unless you are willing to put in a lot of work to make it ride how you want to, and are willing to buy replacement parts, for the poorly made parts.

I bought accessories for this bike like a new stem
Okay so i bought this bike off of a different bike. I use this as a daily commuter. From school to home. I bought accessories for this bike like a new stem, brand new tires, new pedals, new rims. I would recommend getting a " Critical Fixie " its as cheap as this but i wish i got the critical because it comes with a better stem and everything. Im selling this frame soon and upgrading to a racing bike. Oh btw, I ride brakeless. Got into one accident because the tires are bad in the weather and fractured my wrist. I am fine now. But overall, a very good starter fixie.
