JBL JR POP - Waterproof portable Bluetooths Speaker Designed for Kids - Blue, JBLJRPOPBLUAM

I bought this because of the price and the fact that it's JBL which makes good products. I expected it to be ok for the price and good enough so that I could use it in a small room or outside when I go in our hot tub. Well when I turned it on for the first time I got the shock of my life. Oh, how wrong was I? This little thing puts out great sound! It sounds amazing! I stood there wondering how they get that much sound out of this little thing. The heck with it being for kids! And the price, well you just can't beat it. They could easily charge double for this and I would still pay it...but let's not give them any ideas. It also lights up, but I haven't really paid attention to that feature yet. And I love that it has a little strap that easily unsnaps so you can hang it almost anywhere. It's also very easy to sync, which is nice. You don't have to download an app to use it or anything like that. Very user friendly which I love! Not everyone is tech smart.Anyway in all I highly recommend this product. And although I personally don't have kids, this product would be excellent for kids. No small objects and it's water proof too! From what I've read, it can take quite s beating too so it sounds like it's durable which is perfect for kids! Other ideas include: camping, boating, hiking, playing in the backyard, out in a hot tub, working out at a gym, at work, sporting events, and more!The last thing I would say is I would advise on buying the case that fits these little speakers. I did and I'm so glad I did! I bought it on Amazon...the one Amazon recommended and I love that it's a hard case. I just feel better about it having a secure place rather than leaving it out and collecting dust.In all, buy one or two! I might buy one for a Christmas present which is a while from now.

I have a Google Home that was in my bathroom, but I started having trouble calling out to it to change the music when I was in the shower. The sound also wasn't so great as I had a tiny bit of wall and a shower curtain dividing me and the Home.I decided to pick up something cheap. I looked around a LOT but found that everything decent was so expensive. I just wanted something that would last being hooked up in my shower and would connect to my phone.When I found this, I thought, "Sure, why not?" I had a JBL in the past that I really liked. I was hoping this smaller 'kids' version would sound similar, and wow, it really does have great sound quality.Once the speaker is connected to Bluetooth, it automatically connects to my phone each time I turn it on; similarly, it immediately unpairs from my phone once turned off. This is only really important to me because I'm lazy, but it's still a good feature. I don't know if anyone else has problems sometimes with connecting and disconnecting from Bluetooth devices properly, but this speaker has no issues. It immediately pairs with my phone.The clip is a very big positive of this speaker as well. I'm able to hang it from the towel rack placed inside my shower. Another benefit is that I've used this speaker about a dozen times so far and the battery hasn't gone out yet. I don't use it for very long, maybe 15 minutes at a time at most (I'm one of those weird ones that takes short, room temperature showers. Fine.) but I'm still impressed considering how funky electronics can be. I plugged it in for about an hour before I first used it just as a precaution, but it comes charged.

I saw these come out not too long ago and saw they were marketed towards kids, I figured "oh okay probably a little less durable and lesser sound quality" and then they went on sale, so I took advantage of that. The colors these come in are soooo cute. I bought the green one and the blue one for me and my fiancé. We were so impressed with how loud these got, perfect for clipping on a backpack for hiking/camping. I'm so happy with them, and they feel just as good of quality as the bigger one i have!! I even loved them so much that I bought two more of different colors I was eyeing. If you're hesitant, trust me it's worth the money.

I am not a child, but saw this was more affordable than the 'adult' JBL and read the other reviews.It is fantastic! Connects very easily, water resilient so far (used in pouring rain), solid battery life, sound is very good, and the led lights are actually pretty pleasant after dusk. More secure button than clip on adult version. Plus fun 90's colors.I use my speaker mostly at the beach, river, or hiking, so I like that I can lose it without breaking the bank.

This little unit is designed for kids to use but it's great for my purposes. I use it as a way to hear my podcasts when I'm washing dishes, in the car, doing garden or housework. Essentially as a amplifier for my pods. Well programmed; lights tell you when you're shutting it down or waking it up or charging--nicely intuitive.Sound not great for music but fine for pods or white noise generation.Low cost, well-designed, solid.Well done, JBL!

I got this speaker for my music-obsessed toddler. They LOVE it. The sound quality could be better, but is good for the price. It really takes a beating and a splashing. Battery life is reasonable. The lights are fun, if not coordinated with the music.

I bought this speaker because I work outside with kids, and was enticed by the durability. I use this speaker all the time! The strap makes it easy to clip on a bag, and because it’s “kid proof”, I’m not scared to throw it in my backpack or use it outside. Note: You can turn the light on and off, but you cannot change the colors.Great speaker! Would make a great gift for kids or yourself!

Works well. Just wish there were buttons for skipping the song on it; only have on/off, volume up and down and light on/off. I like that it can attach to things like my bike handle bar or bag/purse.

Ya habia escuchado esta bocina y me parecio interesante. Cheque el precio y creo que es muy bueno para la calidad del sonido la cual es buena a secas, no se distorcionan los sonidos pero tampoco tiene el mejor sonido. El volumen que alcanza es bastante bueno para estar en una sala o en la playa siempre y cuando no te alejes tanto.
