I would exercise extreme caution with this product. My robe caught fire this morning whilst I was wearing it cooking scrambled eggs. The sleeves, the collar and the hood just ignited with flames, like in the movies, witnessed by my ring CCTV camera which I retain as evidence. I will be reporting this to Amazon as this garment is flammable and dangerous.

This product is OK but it is definitely not how other users have overinflated how amazing this product is supposed to be.It is a towelling bath robe so at least that part of the description is correct.It is definitely not as thick or as course as you get in a spa/hotel but its 70% of the way there so you would definately be disappointed if you know what you're after.Worst thing about this item is that it has a really annoying tendency to shed fluff which is visible on light carpets bath tubs etc irrespective of how many times you wash it. I think I've had this over a year now and still the same.

Everything is wrong really cheap thin towelling not stitched properly lots of pulls and threads not finished of pockets inside were just cut not turned in or hemmed ablolute rubbish no answer to my emails says it all that’s my money wasted stupidly washed and dried before checking and threw returns bit away as I trusted all would be fine as it normally is from amazon

Dressing gown is OK quality, but too small. I'm 6'2", 14st, & ordered XXL, it's too small for me, sleeves only come halfway down my arms. Seller is making me pay return postage, which sucks for an amazon order that is not the size described. Buy elsewhere...

Excellent bath robe. Good value. I was doubtful when ordering due to a few bad reviews with photographs giving the impression the gown was going to fall apart after wearing for a couple of days. The towelling is a tight thick fabric not resembling the photographs from some unhappy purchaser's that looked like it had been used as the cats bed. The majority of purchaser's gave top marks so that gave me the confidence to place an order.

I am very pleased with this garment (dressing gown/bathrobe). I chose the colour aubergine and it looks fantastic.The feel of the garment is very pleasing. I haven't washed it yet but I expect there may be a bit of colour run, or maybe not. However, as a precaution I will wash it on its own before wearing it. I must stress that this is only me taking a precaution.I'm very pleased with it, the colour is gorgeous, the feel is pretty gorgeous also and I hope that it will last me years.Lovely garment and very friendly and efficient supplier.5-stars. *****Kind regards,Ray Sigrist.P.S. I wanted a good wrap over, as a size 18/20 I ordered a XXL size and that was perfect.At 5’ 1” it’s just above my ankles, just what I wanted.Yes, at that size the sleeves are too long, but turning them back is no hardship.I bought the deep Aubergine colour, of course I will be washing it alone, as I would with any deep coloured item.Would I recommend it, yesWould I buy it again, yes.

My OH wanted a 'towel-like' dressing gown after enjoying wearing one in a hotel we stayed at.. so I was pleased to be able to get him one in his favourite colour. It's a cotton towelling as opposed to a synthetic velour or similar, so it's perfect.
