Can't Go Wrong on This One
I have always been a fan of Smokey! Anything he touches is golden. I have so much of his music, so, of course, I'm biased. Smart idea to pluck all the love songs out and put on a CD. Most of my music of him is on vinyl. I'm slowly tryig to eliminate the vinyl...this is a good step in the right direction! I was pleasantly surprised to see that Smokey has many other cds out that I was not aware of, for some reason, I thought he had stopped recording, but he is still going strong from the looks of it. I have purchased three other cds that I am lovin! Check him out!

Being With You & other Great Smokey Love Songs
These are some of Smokey's best love songs but I bought it for "Being with You," which was his wrap-up theme song for his lifetime recognition performance. The saxophone is also great.

This believe it or not is only my 2nd Smoky Robinson CD but I tend to buy collections or compilations of which I can connect to each track . For what its worth this one Smokes !! what a great voice to LOVE ...

Smokeyのsolo、そしてMiracles時代のlove songばかりを集めたベスト盤です。"Quiet Storm""Cruisin'""Baby Come Close"はlong versionになっていて、とても嬉しかったです。最近は映画の影響でABBAの"Dancing Queen"が結婚式で人気、と聴きましたが、歌詞を考えると、結婚式に使うには奇異な気がします。それだったら、このアルバムにも入っている"More Love"なんかの方がよっぽど気が利いています！！Smokey...あなたの歌って通好み過ぎます！どの曲も素晴らし過ぎて、大衆向けではないですね…残念ながら！でも好きな人はとことん好きですよね。George Harrisonは"Pure Smokey"という曲を作って、神様、Smokeyを僕たちに与えてくださってありがとうございます、と歌いましたが、私も全く同じ気持ちです。
