100 Hits: Rock / Various

Loved it, it has most of the songs that I see on the infomercial on TV fro TIME/LIFE Magazine, but at a 10th of the price. Its got all the hits for anyone who grew up in the 70s and 80s. I have other greatest hits from this era CDs, but none of them have as many great songs.

This is definitely not the 100 best rock collection. It is what it says it is: a collection of 100 hits which is somewhat geared towards UK charts. It comes as no surpise since the set is UK-issued. Some artists are presented with songs which I would most certainly not call their best hits like Santana's "She's not there" or Stranglers' "All day and all of the night" (which are not even their original songs). On the other hand there are some hits which which you typically don't find in a rock collection. I presume that to keep the price low some artists are prersented with several songs (T.Rex, ZZ Top, Alice Cooper etc.). CD4 cotains harder songs than the others so one may say that heavy metal is there too. Overall the set is worth the price.

EXCELLENT ! Très bon produit à un très bon prix. Je vous recommande ce produit qui est en passant un album très complet pour tous les bons collectionneurs de musiques Rock des années 60 aux années 2000.

100 hits rock 5cds. Its 100 rock songs from the whole spectrum of rock over 5cds so over 5hrs of rock. You get, JOHN FARNAM-YOU THE VOICE, LIVING COLOUR-LOVE REARS ITS UGLY HEAD and there 2 of my fave rock songs. I own lots of artist cds 100,s but sometimes you just need when your in the car or at home doing the chores the hits and this cd gives you 100 hits of rock. The whole 100hits series is good and i also have the 100HITS OF PUNK AND NEW WAVE, 100HITS OF DRIVNG ROCK and others so its a good series to own. This 5cd cost me not alot at Zoverstocks.
