Premium eXo-Tec Zip Binder

Perfect folder. Feel sturdy and looks really nice, the colour is perfect. The zipper feels good quality and the sleeves inside for the cards are easy to use, glossy and haven't noticed any damage to my cards. Feels very safe having the cards inside. They look good on the shelf as well.

So, like many of you, I recently started sorting through my 20+year old Pokémon cards, the folder they were in was the same one I got with them in 1999, and the plastic pockets had seen better days.I desperately needed a new folder for them to keep them in a half decent condition.I decided to go for the 12 pocket eXo-Tec Zip Binder - and i do not regret my decision. Initially I was a tad apprehensive as to whether I should buy the folder as it was one of the more expensive ones that Vault X had. However I'm pleased I did.ProsSide loading pockets - this works nicely to ensure your cards wont be spilling out the top of the folder if you happen to turn it upside down (definitely had that issue with my old one).Zip - The zip seems to be a really solid, quality zip and keeps the binder together nicely. I went for this over the strap binder as I felt it would be more secure.It also adds an extra layer of protection in the off chance you spill or drop anything on top of the folder.The Binder Material - The entire build of the folder feels top quality, the material is sturdy enough to keep everything secure, but not abrasive as to damage the contents, the same goes for the material that the pages are actually made out of - ensuring that your cards shouldn't get scratched (you still have to be careful as you would in any case).The Pockets - As mentioned previously, the side loading prevents the cards from falling out of the binder and the material should stop cards from getting scratched.They are large enough to fit a card in that has been stored in a plastic sleeve, keeping them extra safe from scratches/damage.ConsThe only downside I found was that a few of the pockets nearer to the centre of the folder seemed a very snug fit and proved a slightly bigger challenge to insert and remove cards from - however this was such a minor thing it's not something that will ruin the folder.Final Point - this is a great folder for storing your collectable trading cards, the design is clean and feels really secure.If you are looking for a binder to PROTECT and SHOW OFF your cards this is definitely worth the purchase (I actually bought a second folder as I filled the first one up and was very pleased with the first).However I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning on regularly taking your cards out to use them in competitions etc as I feel you would need more accessibility to be able to remove the cards more easily.Thanks for reading and I hope this has been a helpful insight in to the binder.

I always buy Vault X Binders for my Magic collection, they're perfect. I haven't seen a better made binder by any other brand, Vault X make them so sturdy and their range of sizes offer an incredible about if space for cards too if you need it. They offer many colours as well, though I always go for black because I find the colour options a bit overwhelming when they're solid colour. Vault X Binders may be more costly when compared to their competitors, but they are incredibly well made and worth every penny of that premium price.

This is the second one I’ve purchased as my collection continues to grow. It’s well worth the price thanks to the excellent quality, which keeps my cards safe and well protected. The black inserts really make the cards stand out and look fantastic.

I bought this because I needed more space for my ONEUS and ONEWE photocard collection! Upgrading from two 4-pocket binders to this was amazing - there’s so much room and I love the side-loading pockets. Although I’m sad that binders like this with clear pages (so the backs of photocards can be seen) don’t appear to exist where I am, I do really like the textured black pages, as the cards are held in position very nicely. The pockets themselves are roomy enough for you to sleeve your cards (double-sleeving also works fine!). Like some other reviewers have said, some pockets are a bit tighter than others and hence it’s a bit more difficult to slide a card into place sometimes. But this doesn’t bother me too much!As can be seen in two of my photos, there did seem to be some minor QC issues with my binder, in that some pockets had some extra bits that I had to cut out with tiny scissors (I tried pulling them out at first, but I was worried I’d damage the pages and/or pocket bindings). But other than that, this binder is great and I’m excited to grow my collection of cards!

Really high quality binder, feels sturdy and supports my cards well. Fits cards in sleeves well.Personally using this for a phantasmal flames set with a few extra pieces of artwork etc and I have plenty of room to do what I want.The pockets seem strong enough, I did pull at one a little too hard which did tear it a tiny bit but that’s on me and not the quality of the binder.The green is a wonderful colour, and suits exactly what I needed. Really really happy with it!
