Why is the Aquasana without shower head, $54.99, more expensive than the Aquasana with showerhead, $48.00?

I hated this water filter, go with water chef, way better, filter replacement a bit expensive but I’m way happier!

will this remove copper ?

No home filters are rated to take out heavy metals, the manufacturers don't want to get sued if you have excessive contamination that they can't completely remove. You should try the filter for three days, then take a water sample and send it to the lab to see how many contaminants are left.

Does the filter work when upside down

This is not a gravity filter. This filter works by water pressure forcing it through various chambers inside , I’m sure it will work even if its installed at any angle. That being said I won’t recommend this , ive had it for just about 6 months now and every time I use it rusty brown water comes out then clears , EVERY TIME . I complained to the company, the customer service rep says the same thing occurs in the one that she has in her own house. They are aware of this issue but will not do anything about it.

Does thos product help remove the iron in well water that causes everything , including hair, to turn orange??

However, maintenance and replacement of filter systems are very high because sulfur, iron, manganese and other suspended materials in the water soon clog the filter. So, while it may reduce the iron, it will not completely eliminate it and may require more frequent filter changes.
