I bought this iPhone flash drive to free up room on my phone. The stick itself is a cool design - I like the fact that it's metal and not cheap plastic, and that I can tie it on a lanyard. Where it's failed me is the manufacturer's lack of instructions. My phone contains precious photos and videos of my father who is now deceased, so just making guesses about what I'm doing is too risky to me. I can appreciate that there are people who are more tech savvy than myself who feel these devices are intuitive, but if you're not in that category, this particular flash drive is not for you. At least until the designers decide to add some instructions.

I am a real consumer and was not paid for this review. I hate reviews that say everything is hunky dory!I bought this after researching several other similar flash drives. I had 19,756 photos on my iPhone. This flash drive worked like a charm! One note: Be sure to format the flash drive FIRST on your PC , download the APP for this flash drive on your phone , plug the drive into a FULLY charged phone , and follow the instructions on the app. If you have as many photos as I did , it works best to transfer 2000 at a time. You don’t have to stop and upload 2000 at a time to your PC, this pertains to only downloading 2000 at a time. The drive held every single one of my 19,756 photos and there was no data lost when I uploaded them to my PC.I like the metal construction of this drive, and that it has an iPhone , and an android plug!This would be perfect for travel and everyday use!

This is an awesome gadget. It saves so much time when transferring medias to other devices. I have always hated original techniques to transfer media from iphone to other devices. It should be simple. Well, this device making it happens. I really love the metallic looks and the shell quality of this gadget. It is high quality and durable because i attached it to my keychain. Love it so much!

Yes it was easy to get started (you have to down load an app - That part was easy). I can see the pictures and video and on the iPhone but can't do anything with them. The Backup and Backup Contacts and the External Storage Icons are grey out and I found no way to access any of these features, I was able to plug in the flash drive into my computer and store files but they are not available when I reinsert the flash drive into my iPhone. I can only use the 3.0 flash drive on my computer.

I’m not sure how to rate ease of use. I plugged it into my iPhone and then removed it just to make sure it fit. When I tried to remove it, the cover came off! I suppose I can still use it but wish I hadn’t bought it.

I used this product 3 times then it quit functioning. I’m very disappointed and am returning it.

Some files dissapeared after being saved into the flash drive. I don't trust it to save important files.

Disappointing must use an app to obtain the functionality. Definitely not a “plug and Play”
