Be advised that this product DOES NOT come with an AC adapter- just the usb cable. If you plan on plugging it into the wall by your bed, you will need to provide additional hardware. Since this is a gift, I have not received feedback regarding how many stars this product deserves so I gave it 4 stars for now. I will update the score later but I wanted to alert others regarding the AC adapter issue as it surprised me that it was not included. In fairness, the description and photos make it clear, but I missed it anyway.Update 2/2016: The recipient loves the dock after several months of use, but one day it was knocked off of an end table (with no phone in it, thankfully) and the unit broke internally. The case was fine but the connection is now intermittent. I will be buying another one. Still 4 stars.

The construction feels a little weak and mine wasn't molded or assembled correctly. The edge keeps popping out and not lining up correctly. The dock works, my phone sort of flops around but it does have a skin on it. The nice thing about the dock is the removable section that allows you to put a skinned phone in it. It's not a bad dock by any means. It is also just okay and nothing special and a little on the cheap side but it works. I would recommend it if someone asked mostly just for the price.

This product does exactly what I need it to do, which is to charge and hold my fire phone via USB AC adaptor. This is a very good product for the money and I would highly recommend this as an accessory for the fire phone. The delivery took a while, but the amazing price was so worth the wait.

Fits Fire Phone nicely. Price was right. Took quite a while to ship from China but was worth it. The dock has a nice heft to it and the Fire Phone stands at a nice angle. Too bad Amazon did not build in the Android Daydream features. This stand would make the phone a nice alarm clock by your bed ( which it still can, just will not show a clock running until the alarm goes off. )

I thought this would be great for charging my fire phone, but it will only accept the phone without a cover! I don't like to have my phone unprotected without a cover, and I'm certainly not going to remove the cover every evening to charge the phone. It would be nice to have this product that would accept a phone with a cover.

I love this little dock. Bought it 5 months ago, daily use and still working. I've had no problems with the connector on the unit, in fact I take it off and on daily and usually just house it there while I'm working in my office. I also have a case on mine and it works just fine with the case on. (I have a slimmer case.)

The dock does work but, it's not a good fit. I use the amazon leather case and I have to remove the insert to fit in the dock. This results in the phone balancing loosely on the connector with almost no support from the rest of the dock.With the case off and insert in, it rests better at the bottom but is still loose on the sides. If the phone is not in just the right spot it will chime constantly for charge on charge off or not charge at all.Not very pleased with this product.

makes for a nice night clock.take the insert out and it works perfectly with a low-profile case. won't work with a heavy duty case. also, quit working after a year and a month--this is the replacement. still good value for price...i did buy it again.
