indoor fun for active kids
Before buying an indoor trampoline for my children, I scoured the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. None of the well-reviewed ones seemed to fit my needs and they all seemed to have the same complaints, so I figured I couldn't go too wrong by buying this product though I couldn't find any reviews online for it anywhere. So far it is working out very well for our family! We have had this trampoline set up for about 2 weeks, for my 2 and 4 year old girls.First of all, the biggest complaint in the reviews about trampolines is that they are very difficult to put together. I did not put this one together- my husband did. He said it was tricky and time consuming, but not impossible. He did it alone. But he is handy- he built our whole bathroom from scratch with little help- and he is very strong. I heard him putting it together in the basement while I was upstairs, and he made quite a lot of noise banging around (no cursing though!).The second consideration when buying a trampoline, is whether you want one with real springs or just elastic or whatever it is they use. The real springs give more bounce, but are more dangerous for little kids- you have to make sure the springs are completely covered up, and even then your kids could potentially bounce high enough to get hurt. I opted for real springs, which this trampoline has. Before I bought this trampoline my kids were jumping on the couch every day, and I couldn't get them to stop. They have a need to jump high. I knew if the trampoline wasn't bouncy enough they would go right back to the couch, which is probably more dangerous because it's higher off the ground and is next to lamps and stuff. Plus we don't want to have to replace our couch in 6 months. The springs are well covered on this trampoline, and my 4 year old gets really good air on this thing (kind of like the girl in the picture). The next consideration is size. This one is kind of a mid-sized for an indoor trampoline- you can get smaller, and if you have a very small space you probably don't want this one. We took note of the dimensions and measured the space where we wanted to put it. It fits just fine in our kid's bedroom, which is where it lives. Part of the reason we didn't want a tiny one was that we knew our kids were going to fight over this thing, and this one is big enough for them to use at the same time. Yeah, that's not the safest thing in the world, and they still do fight over it (they like to use it alone), but at least 2 kids at once is an option.I had no way of knowing whether this thing would be sturdy or not, because there were no reviews. My judgment: it's sturdy enough, though I know a few wild 4 1/2 year olds who would probably tip it over. When my 38 lb (and 42 inches tall) 4 year old jumps high and leans hard on the bar the back legs come up off the floor. I've told her that she cannot do that because it will flip over, and she stopped doing it. If your child is that big and lacks that kind of self-control you might not want this or any trampoline with a bar. My 2 year old is the wild one in the family, but she isn't heavy enough to flip it over. I'm hoping that by the time she gets that big she will be better at listening to reason, but you never know! The bar is very sturdy, and my kids are constantly testing it- they like to hang from it upside down and practice their gymnastics moves. I know, it's probably dangerous.. but so far it hasn't shown any signs of wearing down or getting loose. I'll write an addendum to this review if that changes.Overall, I recommend this product. You should read about the other options out there, and learn about some of the concerns & issues around buying a trampoline for your kids. There are safety concerns no matter which product you buy and how well made it is, but that is one of the trade-offs in life and it is up to you to decide which risks you want to take. I would personally rather risk injury than teach my kids to be afraid to try anything and to live in a bubble of TV and processed food snacks. But that's just me.UPDATE: Now it is July, several months after first purchasing this product. It is still holding up well, and the kids still use it though not necessarily every day. I am glad that we got them this trampoline!

I haven't seen my son this happy in a while...
I purchased this trampoline for Christmas 2016 for my two sons, aged 5 and 6. My youngest has autism and loves bouncing. I had purchased a different trampoline for him before this one that I have to say was garbage compared to this one. It only had elastic bands instead of actual springs. When our home burnt down, he was devistated that his trampoline had been destroyed. I searched long and hard for a replacement and ultimately bought this one. I have to say, we couldn't be happier. It was not difficult to put together. The "hardest" part was putting the springs in but even that wasn't difficult. I'm a single mother and I assembled this alone with no problem. This trampoline paid for itself in no time. I have it out on my front screened patio and my son goes out there constantly to not only jump on it but also lays and sits on it to read or play with his tablet. I don't feel like this one is going to break any time soon but if or when that day comes, I will buy another identical one to replace it. After about 4 months of heavy use, the springs haven't begun to stretch out or lose their integrity. When I say heavy use, I mean it. Pretty regularly, both of my sons jump at the same time and even their great grandmother got on it once. I love this trampoline, as do my sons, and I personally would like to thank the manufacturer and seller for such a great product. And for anyone reading this review, I can assure you I wasn't paid for giving this review and I paid full price for the product. This is a truthful review.

Great product - skip the poor reviews if you can read instructions
After reading all of the poor reviews, I really thought this was going to turn out to be a mistake. While unboxing, I noted that the frame structure is solid and appropriate hardware is included for assembly. It took me about 15 minutes after grabbing some real tools (as the included tools would have added 30 minutes or more in frustrating agony - this the 4 star review). Everything assembled well and my three-year-old is busy burning energy while I write this review.I can only attribute the poor reviews to user error upon assembly, although I'm unsure how this could be messed up.Great product for keeping the kiddo de-energized during this loooong Wisconsin winter.

Great for special needs! Sturdy.
I bought this trampoline for my son's special needs classroom . The kids absolutely love it ! My son is 5 years old with Autism so having a sturdy small trampoline to jump on and calm down is a must. It made a great addition to their motor lab . Extremely pleased with this purchase!

You couldn’t pay me to put this back together again
My kids love it NOW, but I wouldn’t take $1,000 to put it back together again. The wrench is worsless and doesn’t fit anything. Customer service doesn’t actually know how to put it together. The bolts didn’t appear to fit, so I called CS to see what I was doing wrong... they just sent me new pieces with the same problem. If you use a ratchet or pliers and another set of pliers you can get the bolts to work. Just plan at least a full day. The instructions are not very helpful, better instruction sets (still not good enough) can be found online. There may be alternative sets of bolts. Some people have this problem with the bolts, others do not... I assume they use different vendors for those parts periodically and at the time I bought mine the vendor wasn’t competent.

Hard to assemble
Holy crap underestimated how difficult this would be to put together! Assembling the frame was easy but the springs were very hard to get it. I dont see how it can be assembled with just the tools that came with it. You defiantly need your own tools. Once it was all together, my son immediately climbed up & started jumping. Overall great product just hard to put together
