Easy to put together. Exactly what we were looking for to fly our flags in front of our new home.

Buyer beware. Bought 2 of these. Neither withheld winds that didn’t do any other damage. No shingles or siding gone, nothing else blown over. And I am a month outside of return window- not like they lasted for years. They lasted 3 months. Yes, I dug down as instructed, yes I cemented holes to spec. Even had extra support because I tend to overdo it. And they still bent and failed. I am a disappointed customer.

The media could not be loaded.  One thing I didn't realize, was that it does not come with a base ring to sit on the ground, nor does it have a base foot to sit inside the pole. So I am a bit concerned about how strong its going to be, we get average wind gusts here of 20+ mph most days, no trees for several hundred yards. We have 2 heavy 4x6 flags, we'll see how it goes. Will update soon.Originally I had given 4 stars, but I'm changing it to 5. And I give you my reasons. Second flag is not on pole yet, but tonite we had some 30+ mph gusts, and although this pole bent a bit, it did not break. I am going to reinforce it some more, but for the cost of this pole, if you install it correctly, cementing it the ground, and put more than 1ft in the ground, it should hold up under pretty strong winds.I do want to point out, if it rains and your flag gets wet and heavy, a pole like this could be damaged by strong winds. The added weight, we're talking anywhere from 20 lbs and up, combined with strong wind, could snap it. If you expect heavy storms, you should take your flag down. Heck, because this pole is modular, you could even just disassemble it and put it away until storms pass. Its easy to put up and to take down. One person could do it no problem.All in all, I am happy with this flag pole, and I think its a great buy. My recommendation is that you put a 1 1/2 inch 15ft pvc pipe inside it before you stand it up; and with that added strength, I doubt anything below 100 + mph winds could damage this pole.Well, I'm going to lower my rating again, mainly because this pole is NOT a 2 inch pole as advertised. Its 1 1/2 inch pole, and I had to take the 20 ft section of pipe I bought to put inside back to the hardware store, and get 1 1/4 pipe to go in it.

Gave to my 87 year old dad for present. Had to restring at year one. Also purchased a nice American made flag. If you could see the joy in his eyes when he looks at Old Glory. Packaging was good, no instructions included but self explanatory once you lay out all the pieces. It says to put 2' in the ground, and that it comes with a plastic sleeve so that it can be removed, the plastic sleeve in my box was only 17 inches long, I expected a 2' sleeve. I concreted mine 2' with the sleeve below the concrete, I put one wrap of electrical tape around the top of the sleeve to the pole to keep the wet concrete from seeping into the sleeve, after a half hour or so of dry time I twisted the base pole to break it free from the concrete so it could still be removed later. I put 2 three x five flags on mine, one 6 inches below the other and after a few storms with 25 mph gusts it is doing fine, looks great. It also comes with 1 set of non swivel plastic/nylon flag snaps, I went ahead and bought metal swivel snaps for use when I installed the flags. The pulley wheel on the top cap is also plastic but it is shielded from direct sunlight so I will see how it does. Overall a good product, should come with 2' sleeve and metal flag snaps or I would have given 5 stars.

This flag pole Is amazing. We have had some serious winds coming through and I thought for sure this pole was going down. After the storm passed, we had tree limbs all over the yard, yet there she stood with all her beauty and strength....flying true old glory. really well made thanks for putting out such a great product at a reasonable price.

Everything about this product is well made :sturdy -the height- rope is well made -the pulley is sturdy . Love it.

Great inexpensive flagpole put some good concrete around the base sleeve and your set, it flexes quite a lot in high winds but just lower your flag and its fine...

They looked really good when I installed them, but after a couple of seasons use, they started to bend so I had to line them with 1 1/4 schedule 40 steel pipe. By the time I finished reinforcing them, I might as well have found stronger poles in the first place. These flag poles are too weak in any area that is subject to strong winds.

Good product and good value.
