My clutch slips and makes a slipping shoe on housing sound and doesnt grab when its supposed to. Its on a brand new predator. Why would that be?

First, check chain tension and the sprocket teeth on clutch. They get worn down and slipping occurs there. Second, spray it thoroughly with solvent, or brake cleaner, dirt builds up in between the parts and can reduce its performance. Last, take it off and clean it and reassemble it, that's what I do and it does better.

will this work on an electric bicycle motor

I don't think it will as far as i know these clutches are used for mini bike and go cart applications

Do i have to add high temp grease?

Grease wasn't recommended when i ordered the clutch and I've had no problems with it

good clutch

it did what it had to do. fixxed my problem, and make my 150 slitghtly faster? might just be plecebo but 🤷‍♂️ overall great part, fit right in like oem and stays there, high quality rollers high quality metal and performs great, been 2 years since i pit it in and have no problems still.

Great clutch fits perfectly.

Clutch comes with set screws, and is well assembled using locking ring. Replaced an old Comet clutch . Has very nice tight fit of cover piece to rotating hub. Hub has built in shear pin nub. Just needed an adjustment for chain tension. Slick
