Wagner's 52003 Classic Blend Wild Bird Food, 6-Pound Bag

In the Ingredients on the package it states the FIRST ingredient as White Millet (which is the exact reason I purchased this product). But, there is hardly ANY WHITE MILLET in this mixture. Most of it is Milo and cracked corn. I should have known by the price that I wasn't getting a good deal on a White Millet product. I certainly will never buy Wagner's product again. -Siciliangal I started feeding the birds at my house last summer. Apparently, they told two friends and they told two friends and so on and so on....now my bird feeders look like a bird airport! I've got all sorts of birds hanging out now; and this feed does just fine. With the amount of food they are going through, price is a concern; and this was a decent value. I buy several bags a month. If I recall correctly, they are Subscribe & Save too, which is a plus. I may be spending more on feeding the birds than I originally planned; but they've gotten me hooked; so I'll keep on ordering this food. – BubbaB REALLY BAD PRODUCT. Same price as good quality wild bird seed mix at my local store but Wagner's 52004 is full of sticks, chaff straw, clumps of misc stuff. Sent up a cloud of dust when put in bird feeder. Other than non bird food detritus mentioned it contains mostly millet and cracked corn and a few broken sunflower seeds. I ordered it to be delivered to my home. Instead it was dropped at the post office and I had to go pick it up. I dumped it in a field rather than dragging it back to the post office. Even the Magpies and crows wouldn't eat it. – Amazon Customer This was a nice buy, delivered. But I suggest spending a few extra dollars and buying the Wagner's Greatest Variety Blend, which the birds seem to like much more. This Classic Wild Bird Food has a lot of the tiny seeds that just get raked out of the feeder and onto the ground. That pile will eventually get picked through, but . . . . If you're going to feed them (and GOOD FOR YOU), then I suggest springing the little extra money for the higher tier option rather than this Classic. – T.M. Reader I have purchased this mix before and got what I expected for the price. Lots of “filler” seeds but a fairly decent amount of sunflower seed and other good stuff. This time the bag was probably 60-70% white millet (milo?). Any bird lover knows that our feathered friends will ignore those little round white seeds. I am a naturalist and horticulturist and this has been approved by the wildlife in my yard. I try to maintain a native and polinator attesting garden. The bag is large and well priced. Don’t get fixed on brand names and the highly marketed, overpriced bird food brands out there. Birds don’t care about the brand, it’s the seeds in the mix that are to be noted. – Julz:) This is great wild bird seed. I am a sucker for feeding the neighborhood birds and love to watch the birds feed outside my window. My budget doesn't really allow for more expensive, higher grade seed products for my wild friends but this seed is always nice not a lot of extra dust that I have seen in other products. Not a lot of waste below the feeder as well. I did purchase though for $13 for 20lbs. The price is currently at $24 for 20lbs. I normally never comment on the price but seems this product fluctuates in price so FYI ( I have bought now twice, both times under $15 ) – Kristen B WOW! This sees was a bargain. Too bad I can’t find that bargain again. I’ve never had seed attract so many colorful song birds. I also get blood red Cardinals, large blue birds, barn swallows, turtle doves, Robins, and many more. I bought shepherds hooks to hang the seed. But Amazon had a window feeder. Again WOW! My tinted windows give them a sense they alone but from inside we can watch these beautiful creatures of God in their up close Glory. It makes for great live Cat and some breeds of dogs a 24 hour entertainment viewing. It’s fun just watching your pets. Caution. Adhear the feeder far and high enough from chipmunks. Seeds are large and make sure you bird feeders have big enough holes for this.

Quality and freshness of this product was good. The birds like this blend. The size could be larger because it does not last very long.

Good money for the price. I'm in Southern CA and it mostly attracts HOUSE SPARROWS 😂 they are literally a GANG! I had a cute little finch couple that would come and eat so polite and nicely and then BAM the sparrows found my feeder and they don't let up! Seed EVERYWHERE all over the ground! I will say, it hasn't sprouted on the ground even in the rain and the birds really do go through it fast! I just got an arrival of White-crowned sparrows (likely from Alaska or Canada) that joined in with the house sparrows! Lol I'm excited to see the migrant birds but MORE SPARROWS???? lol can I get a cardinal or some more finches??? I don't think so with this feed. I'm going to use it up and try a different feed to see if it was this feed or just these greedy sparrows! Lol. I love the finches so I'll just get a Nyjer feeder for them since the sparrows are a frat house 😂 as you can see in my photo, the Sparrows have been to my feeder over 200 something times lol greedy af!

The birds appear to like it. I mix it 1/2 with Wagners.
