It works with my laptop just fine Dell Inspiron 15, 5000 series

It took much more to install and wires to get around to. Always suggest grounding yourself before working on the laptop. Last computer that I installed a battery on I forgot to discharge myself of any static and it shorted out my battery and laptop.Use gloves and suggest upgrading anything else in the laptop such as RAM or hard drive to SSD while you're changing out the battery.

Only have to remove screws

I've been using this battery for about a month and it works just as well as the original did when it was brand new. The installation is pretty easy. Remove the screws on the bottom, pop the shell apart, remove the battery screws, disconnect the battery, connect the new one, then put it all back together. Even after this battery hits 10%, I still have 20+ minutes left to use it. The instructions say to run it down to 3% before charging it again fully. It is nice to get about 3 hours of use of my laptop using the battery again.

Waste of MONEY! Worked only for about a year

I was so happy when I got this battery. Before I bought it, my laptop battery would die within 30-45 minutes even if it was fully charged. I decided to buy another battery online and after a few weeks of looking at reviews, I decided to buy this battery. I followed the specific instructions that came with the product in order to prolong the battery's life. Now after about a year of having it, I am once again getting a notification from my laptop that the battery is no longer sufficient to use. I fI do not have it constantly plugged in, the battery will only last about 5 minutes before completely shutting down! Extremely disappointed. I wanted an alternative to Dell's high prices.
