This thing is perfect. I installed it on my 2004 BMW Rockster. It only took a few minutes. It's nicely made and on my bike it opened up the rear end visually to really show off the single sided swingarm. On my bike it's not even that loud since I retained the catalytic converter. It created a nice tuned tone. Perfect for the twin cylinders I have. I didn't have the bike tuned for it and it hasn't hurt performance. I don't think I gained anything in power but the sound is spectacular.

This pipe was perfect for the sound I wanted, i already had an aftermarket cat delete but the muffler made the bike sound like a cruiser. This piece gave my bike the sporty sound I was looking for! 15 min Install and great price

I have not removed the cat.Bike sounds deeper now and a bit louder, not obnoxious at all.2 bonuses are a fully exposed rear wheel and an 11lbs weight reduction.
