Famous Dave's6 pck, Rib Rub Seasoning (33 oz.)

I have tried a lot of rubs out there for ribs. Famous Daves just has a nice mix of flavor and my family prefers it. I know there is more to smoking up great ribs than the rub you choose, but this one is my go-to for success every time when it comes to seasoning them. I also use butter, some brown sugar, and cider when I wrap them up during a portion of the cook. The 3-2-1 method is fantastic!

I use rubs on many things including eggs for breakfast. Famous Dave's is a great rub or rub starter (layer for different flavor profiles). This rub is great when smoking ribs (low and slow) using Johnny Trigg's secrets (squeezable butter, wrap, etc.). I use it for smoking, grilling or baking chicken too. Like it better than his chicken rub, which is good too.Tasting the rub by itself: sweet and smoky-ish beginning, then a pop of spices with a clear taste of garlic, followed a mild stinging after-burn (heat) from the red peppers flakes, but the other flavors pop back. If you don't like garlic flavoring and mild hot wings are too spicy for you or If you put Tabasco (or Frank's) on you cereal than this may not be for you.Have tried the do-it yourself rub recipe that is suppose to be from Famous Dave. Though it is good, it is not this rub and does not have the same flavor profile. Friend of mind talked about these ribs two weeks later stating he doesn't care for ribs but really enjoyed these. (use Johnny Trigg's tip of squeezable butter and wrapping in (thick) foil after smoking. Great with Apple wood and Hickory wood and great on fast food burgers.

This stuff makes anything that goes into my smoker taste unbelievably great. Won’t bbq without it

My family loves this seasonings. We use it for a lot of meats we cook. My favorite thing to put the seasoning on is baked potato! Yum! When like the seasoning so much we gave our friends some to try. Now that we are running out we are reordering soon.

I have used Famous Daves for over a year now. I live in the middle of "BBQ Country" where there are hundreds of rubs. Daves rub is the best I have come across. When looking at all the rubs, I choose rubs where the first ingredient is SUGAR!!!! NOT SALT! Great product!!!!!!!
