Awesome paint easy to apply and looks great on. Drys with a nice hard finish.

IT'S BLUE, NOT GRAY!!!
It's a good product, smooth in applying and arrived without any problems ... but it is blue. For me, it wasn't a problem because I believed the other reviewers and felt the bluish tint would work on the platform of a backyard shed. As you can see from the photo, it's not bluish, it's sky blue. Not sure why they call it gray. The door and window area is light blue and the shed itself is gray. And, comparing those colors, I doubt anyone would consider it gray in any lighting.Good product, just not gray.

Great for non skid …
Worked great for decking for a non-skid ramp. Easy to put on was a qt when I thought was a gallon so a $48 price tag is a bit rich for my blood so only got one coat for a four x six piece of plywood. We shall see how it lasts through out the HOT high desert sun and cold harsh winters.

Worked and stated, no problem with drying.
Went on smoothly, holding up so far. Used it on an aging deck. Cleaning and priming the deck took effort, painting it was easy. A couple of thin coats deck looks great. Paint color consistent, can't tell where I needed to touch up. The silica is easy on bare feet, not at all slick after rain. The grey color I ordered was much lighter than I expected, glad now. A darker color would probably be hot in southern summer sun. Good value from Amazon for 3 gallons.Looked to buy paint locally, it was $60 a gallon more. Issue I had was that shipping boxes arrived in perfect condition, the cans inside were severely dented, one slightly leaking. It was necessary to transfer paint to cans I picked up at home improvement store. No returns. Mineral spirits just fine for clean up.

Great product, will order again!
I used TotalTread on my Cape Dory 25D to bring the flat surfaces back to life. Super easy to use and great surface after 1 coat.Day 1: TapedDay 2:- sanded with 120 pads, lightly, and then cleaned with an acetone rag. (1.5 hours total with my wife helping)- painted with Total Boat top surface primer (or whatever it’s called)- dried enough to sand in about 90 minutes (85* and cloudy outside)- lightly sanded with 220 (30 min.) and dusted all the powder away- Rolled on 1 coat of tan Total Tread with foam rollerDay 3: today - went to check and everything is dried and set. Could have went a little bit heavier with the 1st coat, but will not likely add a second. Will be ordering again in white to hit the remaining non skid surfaces.

Good Product WORST SHIPPNG EVER
This Total Boat Non-Skid is great stuff. Goes on well and looks fantastic. The feel under foot is nice too. Grippy without being abrasive. My only complaint is that Total Boat shipping is awful. First order was lost or damaged. Instead of resending they did nothing. Lost 2 weeks trying to figure out what to do. Finally cancelled and reordered. It still arrived late. Just ordered another can so I can finish up and it too is late!! If you do order make sure to order it with a week or two to spare. By the way, the one can that did arrive was damaged. Big dents but luckily it didn't open. I'll order from Jamestown Distributors next time. Almost the same price and free shipping.Product good. Shipping BAD.

Made my old boat look new!
Product came packed very securely in a heavy-walled cardboard box. Even so, the delivery people still managed to drop it and dent the bottom of the gallon can. No fault of the seller, but clearly the heavy handed delivery company. Thanks for the gloves, stir sticks and pouring/mixing cups! The paint itself was very EZ to work with and I got a great finish. I did one coat and noticed some lite coverage in a few areas, so I feel strongly that 2 coats are needed. It was pretty sunny out so the mis-coverage was my fault. Even so, the finish was very very nice. I used a 1/8" nap roller and did not need to tip it with a brush. I used blue painters tape to mask my areas and then pulled it up without issue in about 30 minutes time. I HIGHLY recommend using the gloves because this stuff is not easy to remove from your hands without full strength mineral spirits. I waited a few days to let the paint cure (not sure that was needed but I did my best to stay off the new finish and not wash or scrub it for a few days). When I washed my boat the following week, I totally noticed a renewed sense of safety thanks to the new nonskid paint! And having my nonskid as a new color, people can totally see where to step and NOT to step when running around the boat. The finish is easy on my feet too. All in all it was a great project that made my old girl look new and sexy again! My tip for others with an old, chalky, no-longer-shiny fiberglass boat is to wetsand the glossy (slippery) areas to bring back the shine (really works!) and then mask off the non-skid areas and paint that area with this TotalTread product. Again, this project made my old boat a new boat!I purchased the sand beige (check out the pix). I ordered a gallon: one coat on a Catalina 30 sailboat used up about a quart. So then two coats would require half gallon. Everyone's mileage will vary but that's my math, FYI.

Took 20 days to dry
Used the paint on my brand new reinforced shed floor. Used the primer first and it dried fast but the paint took forever, after the first week I thought it was never gonna dry. I had a fan blowing on it and even bought a space heater because I thought maybe it was too cold. It did dry after 20 days but I couldn’t put my brand new RZR away and it sat out in the elements. I’m thinking maybe I applied the paint too thick. The directions say to use a foam roller but I used a regular roller with a thin nap instead. I don’t know if a foam roller applies the paint thinly but in hind sight I would definitely use one. The directions should stress to apply thin coats.
