2 years and already the cartridge has cracked. The shell is of low quality.

I found this filter to be well made, easy to install, and cost effective. If you use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F5VJPFQ1?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1 and grease the O-ring with silicone grease, you won't have leaks at the fittings. Also liberally grease the body O=ring. I anchored my filter using 2" L-brackets ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PQFQGX8?ref=fed_asin_title ). I replaced the air bleeder plug with an auto bleeder ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PM8WTJU?ref=fed_asin_title ) so I don't have to worry about air in the filter, or make a mess bleeding it. And I replaced the 60PSI gauge (which is pretty stupid on a 50PSI-rated filter) with a 30PSI gauge, as my system normally runs ~20PSI with a 3/4HP pump. Finally to those of you that have had this filter break, what size pump are you using?? This filter is only rated for 50PSI...

Don’t buy it save your money and buy Hayward!! purchased a year ago and cannot keep it sealed losing air from the pressure gauge and the air valve release replaced the O-ring, gasket and didn’t make a difference cleaned The filter worked for a little bit then it starts dripping. I had a really hard time ordering the O-ring had to order it from the company. No size listed for this ordered numerous O-rings from Amazon having to return them and ordering from the company and paying shipping and waiting over a week. Amazon should not sell products that they don’t sell all the pieces to the product!!! now I have to buy a better filter.

This has been the best and most efficiently economical fix to my filter problems. Easy to install and perfectly filtering my in ground pool❤️

I had a DE Filter. Always have to backflush it, add DE powder, and replace the elements every 5 years. Decided to go with an easier, more user friendly system. This unit was easy to install, works like perfectly. Very easy to open and clean. Highly recommend.

Replaced failed Hayward pump and DE filter for 20,000 gal in-ground with pump and filter combination which worked great! Filter quality holds up to pine needles from trees lining pool area and easy to clean. Comparable filtration speed and clarity compared to DE without the mess and slim design is easy to open and close- no more ratchets and rings, just grab the handles and turn. Quiet operation great value and holds up to the weather. Easy fit in old DE filter space.

Good item They do not include fittings for pvc otherwise I would have given them a 5 star

Just got this in today. Quality appears good but I cannot open the filter canister to put a cartridge in. It is stuck together and I have had both of my neighbors over to help to try and separate the top from the bottom to open the canister an it’s just not happening.
