Works great , heavy duty for durability, firm connections on both ends to prevent resistive heat and fire. A must to have if camping with a class A RV. Love the bright colors . Easily seen so u will not drive off without it .

We just traded in our travel trailer and purchased a 5th wheel. The new unit is 50 amp so we needed an adapter for the connection at my house and also if we stay at certain campgrounds. Originally priced this at some of the camping stores and it was more than double the price that it's listed for here. We've already used it 4 times and the handles on each plug make it very easy to unplug when we're ready to break down from our trip. The 180 degree turn on the plugs is a nice feature, the cables are twisted or strained when using this connection. Lights up when power is applied. Makes it easy to check with just a glance to see if we have external power. It seems to be well constructed and solid. We've only used it 4 times so far but if the build quality is as it appears, we don't expect it falling apart any time soon.

Camco continues to impress me with their ability to produce a good quality product at fairly reasonable prices. And this is no exception. The handles are actually... handy. They make removal from a plug or outlet much easier. The contacts appear to be good quality and solid feeling. The 50amp side has solid contacts for taking a 50amp plug and holds the plug firmly in place. The conductor wire seems well suited for its rated current and does not get hot at all under load (like the previous one it replaced and many of the "cheapie" units do). Hint: Always make sure to use (a very thin layer of) dielectric grease on the contacts. This avoids arcing situations where the park receptacle is worn and loose inside. That will cause both the receptacle and plug to get hot, melt, and possibly start a fire. Dielectric grease arrests the arc and keeps that from happening.

Cheap enough, and it was very sturdy. It does however have a short cord, so make sure your dryer is close to the plug you need this for. I ended up getting this by mistake, but the return was simple, and I had my money back by the end of the day. All in all a pretty decent experience.

Works exactly as you want. Used outdoor 24/7 during entire season. Holds up great. No fading in the sun or water intrusion.

I am very impressed with how heavy duty this cord is. The cord and each end are very hefty and I love that the ends are bright yellow. It is easy to find in our RV storage compartment. We needed this adapter when we upgraded our coach, now we have a 50 amp cord and we have a 30 amp electrical box at home. I always plug in at home and start the refrigerator a few days before we leave on a trip, so this adapter will get lots of use. I think that this cord will last a long time because it is well made. I am very pleased with the purchase and the price was very reasonable. The quality is far better than I expected. I recommend this adapter with confidence.

I needed a nice 50 to 15 amp dog bone adapter for my RV so I could plug my 50 amp RV into a standard 15 amp house receptacle. This one is very well constructed and works great. Obviously you need to be very conscious of not pulling in too many amps/watts when running this adapter. Always ensure you never exceed 80% of the rated circuit breaker you are on and you should never have any issues. I also recommend using at least a 12 gauge extension cord for this to ensure there are no issues from an overload.

Heavy duty power adapter is a must for all RVs running 50 amps. We purchased our new 50 amp travel trailer in June and embarked on our summer escape from Florida to the mountains of North Carolina. We booked our site back in January when we had our previous 30 amp travel trailer. Our site would only accommodate 30 amp rigs and the campground was at capacity with no 50 amp sites available so we would've been up the creek if we didn't have this adapter! Construction is excellent and the grip really helps as it makes a solid connection. I expect this adapter to give many years of trouble free service.
