If you are willing to put in the work, it’s an awesome toy. My 5 year old loves it. - For young children, this is likely too difficult to assemble on their own. I assembled it for my child. Assembly can be tricky even for adults and super glue is a must if a young child will be using it, especially for those like my boy who likes to play rough with his toys. We nearly lost a few parts before the superglue. - The plastic is soft and fairly forgiving of drops, but that’s when parts will fall off if not glued. - Once assembled the Apollo capsule with service module are easily attached/detached to the lunar lander. Each of those parts easily attached/detached into individual craft. So my 5y/o can reenact the moon landing stages when he plays with them. - The Saturn V is good, but the Apollo spacecraft is the star of the show.

Highly recommended, super cute and easy to put together. Only bad thing happened to me was the unicorn had little hole right by the corner between the head and body. I want to gave up on the unicorn but finally got the way to fix it but it was still easy to get inflated. Otherwise, balloons have high quality and nice colors theme. My daughter loved it.

First of all, all pieces came in a box about the size of an envelope. Significantly smaller than expected. Secondly, the pieces already come assembled, probably because they are IMPOSSIBLE to put back to together. Part of this is due to the super tiny pieces, the other part because the instructions are printed small enough for a bug to read them and are not step-by-step, but a big butt diagram with arrows pointed in every direction, making it too ridiculous to follow. If you dare to take these apart and then try to but them together again with your own wishful thinking, they do not stick back together once taken apart. I felt like I should've just thrown $16 in the trash can.

The instructions SUCK! And there was none for the silver pieces on top of the lunar lander. I had to reference the amazon images to build these properly. We adults did most of the building. Our son is quite advanced with LEGOs, building Mario and Luigi from every game under the sun without seeing an image, so I was hoping he could build these and he was only able to manage the rocket alone. They took a lot of hand strength, my husband to help a few times. Even with all that strength, some pieces still fall off during play. 😅 My son is excited about space, so he’s enjoying it, but I’m a little disappointed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 6 yr old used his Xmas money to get this. It arrived on time and we opened it up right away. The items were already assembled and before I could see what my son was doing be was breaking it down to rebuild it, because the point is to have fun building it. The instructions are so difficult to understand that it took 2 adults and a highly intelligent 6 yr old to figure it out. I tried to find better instructions online and couldn't find any. One if the space ship parts was broken right out of the bag so I had to super glue it. The astronaut was painted so his helmet was painted together so we didn't get to break down the helmet. I kinda feel like this was already used and packaged back up to resell. Besides it being difficult for a 6 yr old (even a really really really smart one) and the broken part it was a pretty fun activity and worth the cost.

This was a birthday gift fir my grandson who turned 6 and is WAY into space and astronaut things. It was a huge hit! He loved it. I have to say it was a little smaller than what I though but that’s my fault for not checking closer. It didn’t matter it was this was the perfect size for him. For everything that came with this set, the price was a great value too. I would recommend this to anyone. It was great!

We thought it would be larger that is is. Bought it for our grandson. His mom and dad said he showed interest in it when he saw it in the store. He's turning 5 years old next month. This should be a perfect size for him and his tiny room. But even though it is much smaller - in reality - it packs a "BIG BANG" of detail. So well made that my 70 year old husband wants one for himself. The price is great for the quality you get. "Houston it is a go!"

Comes preassembled! To be fair I was looking for an inexpensive space toy but I was pretty psyched to put it together with my son (5). All pieces came totally or mostly preassembled sort of defeating the purpose. Not a big deal, but the materials and paint job are really substandard. After a few minutes of playing with the lander and rocket, the paint was starting to flake off.

This product has so many tiny pieces and is a mess to put back together. Once together the pieces don't want to stay together either. Way smaller then expected. Would not buy again.

Worst thing i have ever bought on Amazon. Very lousy quality toy with broken parts and badly painted details - straight out from the box. I dont even bother to take it out from the plastic. Can even see finger print of the guy who painted the toy 😁

it's very cute - my grandson loves it - just what he expected it to be !

Terrible product. Sloppy paint, sloppy design. Most pieces barely fit together and some are designed backwards of what they should be, not fitting at all. Also an excellent choking hazard for infants and animals. Do not buy!

Color comes off and sticks on your hand after a while.
